A very good vfm choice. I use them for working out and I am satisfied. Huge battery life. Minus one star because they are not foldable to take them on a plane trip like a person
Satisfactory headphones for not too demanding users who pay great attention to detail. The reason I give 5 stars is because they are trouble-free, quality, and at a price that what they offer is vfm (personal opinion). Compared to the Edifier W800BT Plus that I own, they have better lows, but they have worse battery management.
Quite good headphones for their price. Decent noise cancelling. I've had them for almost 2 years.
Negatives: The physical buttons on the headphones have stuck and don't work after a while. Only the power button works, but only to turn them on, not to turn them off. Also, if you forget to turn them off and close your phone, they don't have any energy-saving mode.
Positives: After the first year, the ear pads had worn out. I contacted the distributor in Greece, they sent me replacement ear pads, and I paid around 1-15 euros for shipping through the general postal service
Excellent and clear sound, as well as the bass. Plus, it has very good noise cancellation, so you have no issues in public transport or at the gym, etc. Good battery life and they are lightweight, so they don't tire you easily.
Very good sound, I have never had such an experience with noise reduction, ambient sound, and gamer mode. It just doesn't have very good response for phone calls, and the microphone with my phone doesn't pick up anything but static. (iPhone 11)
Awesome headphones for their price. The sound is amazing, I didn't expect it to be honest. If you want to get headphones around 50-60, here you go, they're great. Now, listen.. if you don't mind spending double the money, around 120-130, and want to have the BEST sound with perfect bass, etc., I recommend the "Soundcore by Anker Space Q45" which I got the same day I got these and the sound is truly unreal. But these headphones are also good for other purposes, I use them in my home studio for example. If you just want to listen to your music casually and you're not obsessed with sound, you just want to have good quality sound, then go for the Edifier, don't think twice
The recipient has been very satisfied with them so far. He does not use them on a daily basis so I don't have much to comment on. If something goes wrong in the near future, I will come back to warn you!
Good choice and value for money! Ideally, it would have a slightly stronger sound and definitely more bass! Especially bass! It holds a lot of battery on continuous music!
The headphones are really good. After 5-6 months of use, they haven't presented any issues and the only negative thing I have noticed is the microphone. They charge very quickly and have an amazing battery life. They are truly worth it.
Very well constructed, the sound is okay for the price, the sound isolation is the same.
The only negative thing I have to say is about the earbuds. After using them at the gym, they started to come off.
To work, you need to download the corresponding application. They are comfortable, have a nice little pillow. I am not very satisfied with the intensity.
The sound is very satisfactory, as well as the sound isolation. I have noticed that the microphone does not have the best performance and that the sound, when the headphones are in Sound reduction or even ambient mode, is affected by vibrations (e.g. when the bus passes through a pothole) and is interrupted for a while.
Another negative aspect is that the construction is somewhat fragile. The mechanism that allows the headphones to rotate can break and the buttons tend to "get stuck" and cannot be used. (the solution I have found is to "push them out" slightly by pushing the soft part of the buttons with my nail in the gap between the hard and soft part - this works, but it is a temporary solution). Also, the material covering the ear cushions has opened at one point after a year of use and has worn out to some extent.
It is a very good choice for their price, but I would recommend, if the noise cancellation feature is not very important to you, to prefer the previous models of the company, which have a stronger construction and are quite durable.
If you find them on sale, buy them with closed eyes! They are of excellent quality, very easy to connect with any device. If I had to mention a negative, it would perhaps be the fact that I would expect them to have more bass. Otherwise, they are exceptional.
Very good headphones at this price, good bass and sound isolation, good for communication with the negative that there may be occasional interruptions in terms of speech transmission from the microphone. There are some issues with the build quality, specifically after a few months the cushions start to wear out and the volume adjustment buttons start to get stuck, making it impossible to handle them.
Really good quality and comfortable after using for hours. The only issue is that the sound is not very loud. Bass and quality of sound in general is good though. Noise cancelling as well. I would recommend them!
Well, as briefly as I can.
Positives: The sound and quality are awesome, I don't know what some people are referring to about low volume, with such sound isolation, you don't need more, even if you wanted to, just use an app and increase it.
Negatives: The microphone is not bad, just average, nothing great but for this price it's very decent, and definitely the fact that it doesn't fold makes it not easily portable.
Conclusion: At the 50€ that I bought them, the best choice by far. If you have money for something better, go for it, otherwise get these and you won't regret it at all.
I gave these headphones as a gift to my girlfriend, who uses them every day for several hours. They are a quite high-quality product from Edifier.
On the positive side, they have very good clear sound without the bass overpowering the other frequencies. They can't be compared to headphones that cost much more, but for their price, they are very satisfactory. They have a direct Bluetooth connection without interruptions. They are comfortable to use and fit well on the head with adjustable cups that rotate, although they unfortunately do not fold. The cups go over the ear category and isolate the sound well.
The functions it has are regular and Active Noise Cancelling, which isolates the sound but has a slight distortion. It does its job just fine. Through the application, there is also the Ambient mode (transparency) through which you can hear the surrounding environment, which is useful if you don't want to wear headphones (most headphones have this function now). It is very useful when we are on the road and need to hear if a car is coming, etc.
As for latency (sound delay with video), we did not notice anything during video playback, so it works perfectly fine here. The battery lasts for many hours of use and charges very quickly. They have a USB Type-C port.
On the negative side, they are entirely made of plastic and unfortunately do not fold for easy transportation. The headband is also plastic (without even a metal film inside). The cups are not removable. They do not have a 3.5mm audio jack, which is a big negative for me because if the battery runs out, the headphones are useless unless we have a power bank or an available socket to charge them. And unfortunately, they do not support audio playback through the USB Type-C (from Type-C to Type-C), which they could easily add. So, make sure to have them fully charged and have a power bank for long trips. A case or pouch is not included. The white color gets easily dirty.
First of all, the sound intensity is more than enough. I do not perceive any negative comments regarding it. The sound options (ambient, etc.) are useful. Obviously, in general quality, they are not headphones of 200€, they are not for professional requirements, but for common use that most of us need them for, in my opinion they are fine. I do not have an opinion on the price.
Coming from the w800bt, I was expecting a serious upgrade and I didn't feel like it happened, on the contrary. The battery is nothing compared to the w800bt, it needs to be charged once a week after heavy use, while I used to charge the other ones once a month. The noise cancelling is mediocre and it gets affected by bumps when you're inside the car.
I had the w800bt for 5 years until they started breaking, and I've had these ones for a year.
In conclusion, I would recommend choosing the edifier w800bt, which are cheaper and, in my opinion, worth much more.
The headphones are very good for their money, they do not bother after long use and have good sound isolation. But the first pair I got from a well-known chain had a defect in the point where they enlarge, they did not stay closed at all, with the slightest opening completely, I took them for a change, they replaced them with another pair which although is not loose and holds, still you see a slight weakness in the opening and closing from time to time...
Along with my review, you will find a comparison of the headphones, 1st day with 2nd year.
The headphones are convenient, but personally, my ears sweat if I wear them for a long time continuously, like 2 hours, you know. Also, their material on the ear pads and buttons is not the best, the buttons after 2 years may start sticking inside and not clicking, and the ear pads after about 1.5 years will probably become like in the comparison photo below. I liked them anyway, and personally, I believe they are worth their money, that's why I got them a second time. Also, to not only say negative things, their sound is very good, and the bass is respectable.
Value for money! I use them at work because I work in an open space with others and I want to be focused. I have been satisfied with their price, the noise cancellation is not so effective in a lot of noise but again I say for their price they are fair. I have been using them for over 3-4 months.
After a week of use. The build quality is quite good. Low volume, at least for my taste. The active noise cancelling is quite good and compensates for the low volume. When cycling, the air that enters is not fought by the noise. To be honest, I expected the battery to last longer. Comfortable fit on the head, but the ear cushions, even in winter, make you sweat a lot.
I have been using these headphones for a few months now. I wanted a set for listening to music and speech (more limited and for gaming) both outdoors and on public transportation, as well as at home. A product for all uses, in other words. Overall, I find them decent, but not completely satisfied.
On the positive side: they are lightweight and comfortable, they charge quickly and have a satisfactory battery life, the different sound modes - noise cancelling, without noise cancelling, and ambient sound - are useful, the connection is mostly easy and stable, and the sound quality and volume are balanced in general.
On the negative side: the noise cancelling could be better, I am not so satisfied with it. Also, if I am in a windy area, the wind passes through the headphones and cannot be avoided, which is annoying. It indeed does not have the strongest bass, but personally, I do not prioritize that. However, the worst thing for me is the poor quality of the microphone during calls. Mainly for this reason, I chose these specific headphones, but unfortunately, most of the time I end up talking on the phone with the headphones hanging around my neck. For a casual video call at home, it might be okay. But for speaking on the go, definitely not.
At the current price of 60 euros, they might be okay because overall they are decent and I use them a lot for music, regardless of not being satisfied with them for calls. I bought them for around 80 euros back then, if I knew they wouldn't work well for phone calls, I might have chosen the cheaper model to have the option of using them wired
Positive: Very good sound, very good noise isolation, ambient mode, construction, comfort.
Negative: Mediocre microphone quality mainly because it is somewhat "muffled", the max volume of the sound could have been higher.
This type of headphones needs 3 reviews. One with active ANC, one inactive, and one for the microphone/calls.
With ANC:
The sound quality is average, weak bass, and relatively low volume. But the noise reduction is quite good, especially for speeches and road noise. The main enemies of ANC in these headphones are air (whistling sound) and running (delays ANC and you can hear your footsteps like thuds). If the headphones had more volume, the overall result would be better.
Without ANC:
The sound quality is very good with the volume satisfactorily high. The bass remains weak but much better than with active ANC. Of course, in a noisy environment, it is a headache like most over-ear headphones.
Microphone/Calls:
For me, the microphone should have been placed where the charging port is. In its current position, it captures all the air when it's windy. Otherwise, the quality is excellent.
Fun Facts:
1. Simply with the headphones active and ANC on without playing anything, they are ideal for concentration in a place with moderate noise. If you work from home with children playing or have a shared office with others talking, it does a very good job.
2. The buttons are pressed very easily. I have a long jacket, and it constantly presses the Vol- button.
3. Apart from the ANC function, it also has an Ambient function that enhances external sounds. Ideal with 1-2 clicks to talk to someone without taking off the headphones or to eavesdrop without being noticed. It also works if you have insomnia and want to watch TV with your partner sleeping next to you. You can put the TV on low volume and the headphones on Ambient mode.
4. They are quite comfortable. I have worn them for 3 hours straight and they didn't bother me at all.
5. The 49 hours of battery life are achieved only without using ANC. With ANC, it's closer to 25 hours, which is still good.
In conclusion, it is the best value for money in Over the Ear headphones with ANC, we just need to know that we get what we pay for.
Incredibly good headphones for their price. Very good sound isolation, excellent sound, lightweight overall, and the ear cushions are nice and soft and do not tire after hours of use.
They have good noise cancellation for their price, very good. The sound is indeed not very loud, it could be a bit louder. They seem sturdy, but only time will tell.
