I dissolve it in water and add a little flavored soy milk (chocolate/vanilla). Personally, I have gotten used to the taste—it’s not that great—and with cold water and a little soy, it seems just fine to me.
Dissolves easily in juice, in hot soups, in plant-based drinks with cereals heated in the microwave. Does not dissolve satisfactorily in cold plant-based drinks (clumps). Relatively neutral taste, not unpleasant.
This is the 2nd time I’m getting it again, it has helped me as I can't take classic proteins due to allergies. Together with exercise and a nutritionist, there is muscle development compared to the period before I started it. If you want to add creatines and BCAAs just take them separately. I drink it with peach juice and I find it very complete and with excellent solubility! It may clump if you mix it with milk.
Excellent product. Without sweeteners and additives, with a neutral taste. It is pleasantly consumed with almond milk and banana and does not raise the glycemic index. For those who know and want pure protein.
I dissolve it in juice with a stick blender because with a simple shake you feel the texture. I add banana, ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, and chia seeds and make a multivitamin drink that keeps me full all morning.
First attempt. It melted immediately in the home coffee maker.. 5 to 10 seconds in water. The taste is almost neutral. Results in the future, I will return.
I really wonder about some reviews too...
First, it dissolves very easily, everywhere. In a juice bottle, shake for 10 seconds, ready. In natural juice, quick stir for 20 seconds with a spoon, ready. In yogurt with anything else, it takes a little effort (depending on the quantity you will put, but nothing more than 2-3 minutes).
Second, in terms of taste: it does not affect at all ready-made juices, in milk and yogurt it's like adding plain flour. You barely notice the difference. Taste is a subjective thing, but terms like "dirt" and the like are exaggerated.
Third, it fills you up. Noticeably.
Fourth, it's free.
5/5 relaxed.
legit, I don't know why some people say that it doesn't mix easily. I tried it in water and milk (cold milk) and it dissolved within 10 seconds in a mixer. In terms of taste, if you try it plain, it is very similar to flour (neutral powder taste). :)
The protein is terrible, it comes in a bad packaging that doesn't dissolve at all. I tried it with milk, almond milk, and water, but I couldn't consume it with any of them and I threw it away
It won me over mainly because I didn't bloat as I expected, nor did I spend my day in the bathroom... something I also didn't expect while with many milk proteins I often have fluid retention. Now, as for the taste, it's just okay and it's better that it doesn't have a bunch of sweeteners and dissolves very easily. I don't expect miracles, I got it to help me as a supplement to feel full and in recovery after intense workouts. + the price is very good.
A small update: The only negative thing I have found is the packaging and that it doesn't fit particularly well with some known consumption combinations, you have to put it in another packaging and maybe plain water is the best way apart from using it as flour in food.
Good solubility. I put it in a bowl with milk, oats, and to have a good taste I add raisins or honey or cocoa powder. I preferred it because it is organic, without additives and has a good price. It is better to choose protein without additives and add whatever you want yourself rather than eating whatever additives are put in from the factory. As for the taste (if you don't add anything else) it is simply acceptable (for me always) after a while you get used to it but you expect that since demanding good taste from protein without additives is unreasonable. Since I started consuming it after training, my performance has gradually increased. Now whether this is due to the protein or the training and to what extent in each I cannot know obviously accurately.
First of all, let me clarify something important.. It is a dietary supplement that helps with muscle building and recovery after exercise, so the taste issue should be overlooked! However, there are ways like milk - yogurt - juice that are much easier to drink than plain water. It has incredible solubility - perhaps the best of any protein on the market, just with a spoon and stirring it is ready, it is plant-based and cleaner than anything else on the market, also doing exactly the same job and being one of the most economical! It does not cause bloating and gas like dairy protein, even though it may seem strange for a legume protein. After all these advantages, I really can't even remember what taste it may have..
If you know what you're looking for, the protein is very good... Incredible solubility, as for effectiveness I can't know since I just started using it.
I won't talk about the taste, obvious and it's not bad, you know in advance what you're buying... if you want to feel like you're drinking cocoa, buy those with 1000 sweeteners inside. The reason I went for this one was the side effects from the "tasty proteins"
I will give my opinion after a 2-month trial and how it worked for me.
The protein tastes exactly like flour, it doesn't have any sweeteners or additives, which is something I wanted and was an important reason for buying it.
I have mixed it with milk in the morning, with oats, honey, walnuts, raisins, etc., and with yogurt, cocoa, different berries and fruits, and you can't really taste the protein.
In terms of effectiveness, it probably worked for me not so much in gaining muscle mass, but in losing fat over a 2-month period with daily exercise at the gym and a balanced diet without depriving myself or doing extreme things. I managed to lose 2.5 kilograms of fat and gain minimal muscle mass.
For others, it may work differently and they may gain muscle mass and see results.
In terms of quantity and price, it is complete for organic protein, it is cheap and sufficient in quantity. Most protein powders on the market are always 500 grams of organic protein, either at the same price or more expensive.
For me, it would get 3 stars in the rating due to the taste, which personally didn't bother me, but for some people, it may play an important role in choosing it.
In terms of quantity and price, it would get 5 stars.
But if I consider everything, including effectiveness, taste, and quantity in relation to its price, I would give it 4 stars
Very good choice if you want to avoid additives and sweeteners. Very economical. It is completely tasteless and not pleasant to eat. But personally, it doesn't bother me.
with fruits in the blender is ok, with water it tastes bitter in the mouth, it's like ginger powder if you have ever tried it, but if you have any leftover protein with flavor, you can mix it or add 200 grams of cocoa to the package and it will be ok
For its price, it can't be beaten.
I put the dose in the glass, add a little water, mix it until it becomes smooth, and then fill it with milk. And if you also add stevia (liquid) or honey, it is enjoyable to drink.
Make it like a smoothie with fruits, add cinnamon and lemon zest, it goes well with bananas, apples, strawberries, peaches, apricots, it's something else. Also, I add tahini to the smoothie (my breakfast), I make zucchini meatballs and add it inside, as well as crepes and tagliatelle with protein... pssst, I'm not kidding.
The powder fortunately dissolves very easily in water, even in a glass with a spoon, so you don't even need a shaker... Now, as for the taste, if you mix it with water, you drink a sip and that's it! It doesn't have a nice taste, it's not something terrible but it doesn't have the taste you would put in yogurt, with fruits, and I don't know what else, guys we're talking about PEA PROTEIN! Where else would you put it, I'm saying this because I tried it with yogurt and it was inedible, unless you make recipes for food, I don't know. I recommend it for anyone who wants something economical in protein, it helped me in my workouts anyway, which I imagine is the purpose for someone to buy protein
It is honest and affordable. I have bought it 5-6 times and will continue to buy it if the price remains low. You won't buy it for the taste, as most of the time good taste is a result of additives, which I personally avoid. I eat it with oats, water, raisins, honey, or jam, etc., as breakfast or with plain water after a workout + fruits. In my younger years, I used to eat raw eggs post-workout like Rocky (fortunately, I managed to avoid salmonella), so its taste is an upgrade since then. :)
The soil has a nicer taste, I tried to combine it with various combinations such as milk, strawberry smoothie, chocolate or cocoa, with other proteins I had strawberry cream and mocha but they were all terrible, I tried them and in the end I threw it away.
It also left residues in the mouth and esophagus as it would if you were eating soil.
Terrible.
You know from the beginning that this thing has no taste and you have accepted it by buying it. Don't complain that it's bad, etc. You bought it for the +82% protein it gives you at an unbeatable price. Add some cocoa, mix it with your old chocolate protein and everything will be better. Excellent solubility.
There is nothing more affordable in protein. Very bad taste but if you mix it in a smoothie with different ingredients, the taste disappears. I mix it with cocoa powder and milk or fruits.
I have bought again from abroad physical pea protein (unflavored) so I knew beforehand about the taste, etc. As a protein, it works just as well as whey, maybe it needs a higher quantity in the dosage to match the amino acid profile of whey. No bloating in the stomach. The taste indeed reminds of peas (I regularly eat cooked peas with potatoes and sauce) but it also reminds of flour so be prepared. Personally, I don't mind the taste, nor do I need additives like cocoa, honey, bananas, etc. It dissolved easily in homemade kefir with a simple stirring with a spoon, just like the whey I have been using for years.
It is an equivalent alternative to whey protein, which we all know comes from cow's milk full of hormones-antibiotics and poor diet of cows.
This particular one is sold as organic, it has 82.8% protein, and on the back sticker, it has a label with the words "Agriculture outside the EU" so this must be the country of origin. The packaging does not include a scoop.
edit: The protein dissolves much more easily than any whey I have tried. In homemade kefir, grapefruit juice, or goat milk that I have tried so far, it dissolved quickly with a simple stirring with a spoon. No lumps or sticking to the glass walls.
I experimented with the taste wanting to make it chocolate-flavored, so I mixed 1 kilogram of peas with 1/2 kilogram of rice protein, plus cocoa powder and stevia, but it disappointed me. The overall taste was like...dirt. I had to force myself to consume it. Also, I simply cannot drink it in plain water, even if I add a sweetener.
However, in freshly squeezed grapefruit or orange juice, it transforms. The taste simply becomes one with the juice and I drink it very pleasantly. It matches perfectly in my opinion. I bought 2 kilograms again to drink it only with juices.
