They fit me comfortably and soft just right. I ran (2023) Zagori at 21k and their performance throughout the quite technical course was fantastic. They didn’t tire me, didn’t give me blisters, didn’t slip anywhere, very strong grip on the ground. Of course, all this on dry ground, I haven’t run them yet on mud and slippery leaves, we’ll see!
I also have Saucony Peregrine but these are for more "wild" short routes like Vertical (for 3-5 kilometers), while the Merrells are for long distances where you want more comfort. I was impressed that they didn’t hurt me even on the technical descents!
UPD: guys even after buying the Peak-5 (I only have it for walking) I insist on the Peak-4, it’s unbeatable!!! When you find it don’t let it go, you’ll remember me!!
