The examples and ready-made programs with their results, which are written with the help of Compaq Visual Fortran on Windows XP, help the student to better understand the concept of programming and Fortran 90. The environment of Compaq Visual Fortran is presented through images and comments, which is very important and helpful especially for a beginner programmer who, in addition to the difficulty he faces in programming, will also have to face the difficulty of learning the environment in which he will work for his applications. Therefore, during the book and in the appendices at the end, the development environment and the way of working in it are provided. Also, as you will see later, the programs are written in a frame with color to make their presentation easier. Specifically, the pagination has been done in such a way that the programs and their results stand out. Finally, all Fortran commands are written in bold and comments are underlined.
