The Asics Trail Scout 2 will elevate your running performance. They are made from synthetic leather and mesh for excellent breathability and feature an EVA midsole for energy return and shock absorption. They have a removable insole for comfort, a rubber outsole with a waffle pattern for additional shock absorption and traction.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
They are neither the most beautiful nor the most comfortable shoes to wear. But they are durable, they can handle dirt roads and rocks, and you can wash them without worry. I wear them almost every day, not just for walking, and they are simply a shoe for all uses, especially if you don't have a problem with the bold colors and laces it has.
You need to be a little careful in how you put them on, because the back of the shoe can easily wear out and cause problems with the heel. But I think this is a general problem with Asics, as I have encountered it in three other models as well.
For walking off-road, they don't feel anything and they keep the foot quite stable. They are not waterproof, but even if you get them wet, it's not a big problem. Not even with mud, although you will need a pressure washer to clean them afterwards.
For their price, they are a particularly good purchase
Bought today for everyday walking, approximately 8-10 km, on asphalt and dirt. Economical, narrow fit, in terms of size it doesn't correspond to other brands, it needs at least one size bigger. I wear 42 2/3 or 43 1/3, here the size 44 fit me. Now we have to try them on the road for durability and comfort. 5/5/22 After two months of use, the right shoe showed wear (it got a hole) internally on the heel. And the store where I bought them contacted the importer about the shoe's wear and the response they gave is that it is normal for the shoe to get a hole after two months!!! NO, it's not that they have compromised the quality. The Adidas Rockadia 3.0 that I bought, slightly cheaper, proved to be superior and did not cause blisters on my feet.
Dogs. They will definitely last a year of use until they wear out, and this is with daily use and frequent exercise.
These shoes have a good overall fit. They have a little responsiveness in the sole, they are not "wooden", and I weigh 110 kilos. The back part of them is a little high and somewhat "hits" the Achilles, I don't think they will be easily worn with short summer socks. However, I will spend a little more to get something better, so I returned them.
It's fine, just be careful with the sizes as you consult the corresponding charts, everything is good (foot 30 cm other brands almost size 46 in this one 47). Generally, we pay attention to this in online shopping.
I bought them for running, I haven't had them for even a month and besides the comfort, which is not the best, I started experiencing discomfort in my knee. Before, I used to run with shoes that had over 2000 km on them and everything was fine. It is unacceptable for a new shoe to not be ergonomic on the foot and to cause issues with the stride. They are not suitable for long-distance training. They are durable, but more suitable for walking in the mountains with the dog. I probably won't wear them again. I waited for 3-4 days to see how they would perform and this morning, as soon as I put them on and took 3 steps, my knee was bothering me again. Money wasted.
Update 11/23/18:
They are not suitable for marathons!! Generally, they can handle a little bit of running and if you break them in, they fit better. However, my big toe is now blistering on my left foot. I would say they are good for hiking rather than sports and long distances.
Relatively good for their price... 50€ including shipping. A bit tight on the sides. I believe they will last for a year for the walking I need them for.
The construction quality is a bit loose, for example compared to NIKE. The seams with the sole are visible on the sides
I have had these shoes for about a month now. The quality of construction initially predisposes you for a shoe much more expensive than its purchase value. I use it on a daily basis for walking (dog walking), but generally as an everyday shoe. Not for extreme situations or running. As a first impression, it is very comfortable (I got size 46, one size larger than what I usually wear) and fits very well on the foot. The sole feels a bit hard at first, but I believe it will soften over time. I believe it is worth the money and it is a value for money shoe
The little one loved them! He stopped using the other pairs and almost exclusively wears these. And for everyday wear and for training. Comfortable, lightweight, non-slip, warm, and resistant to mud baths!
In the category of mountain hiking, shoes are tools. Suitable for dirt roads and rocky terrains. They do not slip and get stuck due to the "tractor-like" sole!
Awesome shoes, I got them before my vacation in Samothrace. They endured a lot of hiking in mountains, rivers, and very uneven roads. They even survived a fire incident because I didn't have boots or hiking shoes. They are relatively waterproof and very durable. They fit very well and never slip.
I have had them for over a month. I bought them for intensive walking on both dirt surfaces and asphalt almost every day. Without having much experience, compared to sports shoes of another brand that I had, these are more comfortable and relaxing. My old shoes used to give me blisters on my sole from time to time, but that hasn't happened with these. The measurements I take during my workouts give me a "faster" pace in walking. In terms of durability, it will show over time. I needed a larger size than what I usually wear.
16/01/2023 After a year of use, regarding durability. The fabric on the inside of the shoes in the heel area has worn out, resulting in discomfort on the foot. Additionally, the stitching on the upper front part of the right shoe has started to come undone.
In two 20km trail runs, they have performed very well. The shoe sticks to the ground and doesn't slip. The soft side part of the sole tore a little on sharp rocks, but the terrain was very rough. I wear it daily to work since it is quite stylish and comfortable. A good choice for Asics at this price.
I have had them for 4 months, I only use them for work, which does not strain the shoe, and they have opened in 3 parts.... wasted money. Update 9/11/21, once again it's time to switch brands at Tsagkaris!

Get a size bigger. At first they were very soft, then they hardened.

Incredible shoes, very comfortable on the foot

Narrowly related in the front part

Although I got it in size 42.5, it is still a little tight, but they have a very good and comfortable fit
Verified purchase
It is a tight fit. Unfortunately, from size 45 it goes straight to size 46, which is possibly significantly larger.
