Extremely drought-resistant, it spreads both by stolons and by roots. It goes dormant in winter and regrows in spring. It can be used for the construction of all kinds of lawns, mainly for public use, resistant to difficult environmental conditions (little watering, salty water, high temperatures, foot traffic). Requires low mowing and frequent thinning with vertical cuts. Performs exceptionally well in coastal areas.
