I've had it for two years.
With many apps inside and with an external memory of 128.
It's a solid, reliable phone that really doesn't break.
Sometimes it freezes momentarily, but okay, when it has 4000 photos and videos and about 15 apps, its 3GB of RAM is barely holding up.
The reason I would change it is the photo quality and the RAM that is barely sufficient.
But I feel sorry to change it because the phone is really good, sturdy, and durable. You don't have the anxiety that it will break.
Very durable phone for basic functions. However, without staying in the sun, a year later, the rubber coating seemed to have melted and cracked (cracks) from bottom to top. So be careful with temperatures.
It looks good, it does its job, the photos are satisfactory but I've only taken them with good sunlight. As for its durability, I'll have to come back to it, but it seems sturdy. We'll see.
If you're into capturing top-notch videos and photos, go for Apple. Otherwise, the CAT S42 is very economical and excellent in terms of durability, build quality, appearance, and everyday use. I haven't seen anything more high-quality in a phone, and among other things, I've had Motorola and iPhone. So far, it has fallen 4-5 times, one of which was while riding a motorcycle at 50km/h from a height of +-1.40m and it didn't even scratch (!).
Five stars! These are the features that the phone offers, essentially! Leave it to CAT, drop it, hit it, step on it, and it will work without a scratch on the screen! Wherever you work, wash it with water and soap and you're done, whether you're a barista, farmer, builder, chef, cleaner, or hairdresser, all the holes are covered! It's not a multitasking performance phone for page setup, photo and video editing. It's a phone that will smoothly run each application and has NFC for payments and all the good everyday "simple" things. Even under the blazing sun, the screen is perfect. At €210 and something, it was complete, not that it's expensive now, depending on what everyone wants. The poor thing has 3GB of RAM and is quite decent, ladies and gentlemen!
It is a mobile phone for the careless, it is reliable, fast and durable. I charge it three times a week, of course, this depends on usage. With regular use for social media, music, and calls, I recommend it. Two downsides, the alarm does not go off if it is closed and the radio does not work without headphones.
It doesn't break, it doesn't spoil, only Caterpillar. The rest are all fluff and scents from a brand to a place they don't reach, but tried and it works NORMALLY!
