The most you can do is cut a finger instead of potatoes, besides the fact that with the first use, at most the second, the blades bend and the whole thing gets stuck. It's garbage!!! Specifically, a flaw in the construction. The wheels on the side that help move the lever up and down are very small, resulting in them getting stuck from the inside and making cutting impossible.

  The whole lever system is poorly designed (possibly a bad copy of a more expensive device), and it requires strength to cut a medium-sized potato.... The worst part is that the blades become crooked, and this is the beginning of the end, because if they become crooked, they create resistance and completely disintegrate... The first blades lasted for two uses. The second ones only lasted for one. I returned it and asked for my money back, which was done. The device is completely "potato".... stay away.
