Cast iron cookware retains temperature for a long time, allowing for cooking at low & medium temperatures and is also suitable for direct serving of the meal without the use of another dish.

Instructions for Use
- The coating of the utensil with vegetable oil is essential. It allows the thermal conductivity properties of the utensils to be maintained and protects them from rust.
- Before cooking, coat them with vegetable oil and heat them slowly and gradually.
- The utensils are not dishwasher safe.
- Always wear oven gloves to avoid burns during cooking and transport.
- Wash the utensils with a sponge, warm (not hot) water, and mild detergent.
- Never use steel wool or oven cleaners, bleach.
- Do not put the hot utensil in cold water as thermal shock will cause cracks and deformation.

Nice but 500 kilos... Useful as a weapon at home in case of burglary maybe, if you manage to lift it... I haven't used it even once because of the weight, I don't want to think about washing it in the sink

First of all, it is Chinese.. the pan is not flat but has a few millimeters gap on one side, resulting in it moving slightly and affecting heat distribution. I seasoned it according to the instructions. Food does not stick but it smokes incredibly. They become like charcoal, as others say.. It is not very heavy compared to other more expensive cast iron pans. Good value for money for a first purchase.

I am very satisfied, it cooks meat beautifully, I have also tried it with vegetables. Everything is perfect. It requires attention as the handle gets hot and how to clean it, as the heavy weight makes it difficult to handle.
For cleaning, the utensil should be warm, I use warm water and soap and scrub it with a Lodge brush. I dry it immediately and apply a little vegetable oil... It's a bit of a hassle but if you take care of it, you have it forever.
