For me, this product is really good, the only issue is that the plastic valve leaked on the galvanized pipe. On the back, it states how many rotations it needs depending on the diameter of the pipe

Many people, out of habit from using hemp, apply it like hemp (which is wrong for the thread) and leaks are created. If you follow the correct rotations as well as the cross wrapping outside the joint, you will not see any leaks.
