  I can say it's the best choice I made!

  After a lot of searching, I ended up with this specific base for iPhone 13 & 13 mini...

  The base is very stable and its magnet is very strong. I deliberately dropped it in potholes to see if the phone would fall, but neither the base nor the phone moved!

  I have connected the base to my XIAOMI car charger (~19€, 65W with one Type-C port and one USB port) and I have used the cable provided by the XIAOMI charger, which is a Type-C to Type-C cable for maximum phone charging!
  So, the phone charges up to 30% in 15 minutes (with a new battery). I keep the USB to Type-C cable of the base in the glove compartment.

  As for whether it can hold even the latest PRO MAX model, I am sure it can because its magnet is very stable. I have a Magsafe case, but even without a case, it holds just as well!

  The only negative is that it couldn't stick to my car dashboard... for various reasons... I think the quality of the specific plastic in my car is the first reason... but it stuck very easily to the window!

  I have this in my car.

  Just keep in mind a few important factors:

  The phone will either directly attach to the magnetic base without a case, or if you have a case, it should not only be MagSafe compatible but also have a metal ring inside it, otherwise it won't make good contact and will constantly fall off.

  In Athens or in urban areas in general, where potholes are common, there is a high chance that the phone will fall onto the driver's floor mat in a large pothole, with a serious risk of accidents or damage to the phone.

  It is wiser to place the base towards the passenger side, so even if the phone falls onto the passenger's floor mat, the risk of accidents or damage to the phone is significantly reduced.

  Finally, on the Attiki or National Road and on road networks in good condition in general, the phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max) stays in place.

  I tested it on the route from Athens to Arachova and had no issues, but to have peace of mind, the base is towards the passenger side.
