I don't have enough reasons to give this product less than 5 stars. For 40€, you get an LED light with a wireless remote that changes color and intensity - what more could you ask for? Overall, Xiaomi has done an excellent job with this product, as evidenced by the quality that is apparent from the moment you open the box. However, it's important to note that this light is purely for illuminating your desk and nothing else - it won't light up the entire room.
Pros:
- Impeccable quality all around
- Wireless remote for on/off and adjusting intensity and color (white/yellow)
- The lighting is just right - it won't glare on your screen and the LEDs aren't noticeable to the naked eye. I sit 15cm below the lamp and can't see them at all to avoid glare. Additionally, this can be adjusted because the lamp contacts are magnetic and can rotate 25 degrees towards or away from the screen.
- Comes with a long USB cable, which I plugged into a power strip and it works perfectly.
Cons:
- If you have a monitor that isn't flat but has a curve (like my Samsung S27H850QFU), the base may be difficult to adjust because it doesn't open up much, so it won't sit properly. Instead, it will sit at an angle (I'll upload a photo so you can see).
- This leads to the second problem when the monitor doesn't have a frame at the top. Because the base was at an angle due to the previous issue, it caused the base to press on the pixels on the screen and cover some of them. Again, there are solutions, but they require some creativity...

The controller for adjusting the brightness and temperature of the lighting is very easy to use. My only complaint is that I had a camera before getting the light, so I couldn't place the camera in the center of the monitor because that's where the light's base sits. This can easily be solved if you buy the light first and then get a camera. Overall, I highly recommend it since the price is tempting for what it offers

I would like a little more light, as it says 270 lumens, it is a pleasant desk light but not suitable for reading or doing work. It is not the portable lamp with the 60-watt bulb that we used to have. It would be nice if it had the option to have more light and dim it down.
The color temperature changes by holding down and turning the button from warm to cooler at 6500K.
What they mentioned about it being too bright for the eyes can be solved by rotating the lamp, as it is magnetic on its base and you can adjust it so it doesn't hit your eyes. The light is flush and does not protrude.
The remote control is wireless and works from a distance, so it is not necessary to have it on the desk, for example.
Overall, a very good suggestion for a gift. Specific lighting performance. Good construction.

The two main concerns were screen glare and stability.
In terms of stability, it's great. It doesn't fall or move from its position even with the slightest touch. Obviously, if there is a need for any movement or shaking of the screen, it requires some attention. Nevertheless, I have no problem with ergonomics and stability. I should note that I have two 27'' flat screens, not curved. I have no issues with a flat screen.
Regarding reflections from the light, I am very satisfied as I had a similar desk lamp above my screens, with dimming in intensity and light color, which caused reflections where the light fell. Additionally, I had to lower the neck so that the LED light wouldn't shine directly into my eyes because it was annoying. So one issue created another.
With this specific light bar, I don't have such problems. It is comfortable and doesn't distort the view or cause fatigue.
The wireless controller is very helpful so you don't have to struggle with buttons on the lamp. Finally, the light intensity is sufficient for the intended purpose, so you won't need more.
For now, I am satisfied with just one without any particular reason to have another on the second screen.
I highly recommend it. Especially at €35 - €40, it's a very good value for money.Note: It does not include the 2 AAA batteries necessary for the wireless controller.

Observation 1: It fits perfectly on the Dell S2722QC (approximately 1.9mm thickness in the center of the screen). However, on the Alienware AW2724DM (approximately 3.1mm thickness in the center of the screen), it doesn't fit as well. The "clamp" that holds the screen leans forward, not sitting in the correct position. This doesn't affect stability as much as it affects the light bar's ability to illuminate a large area, only lighting a few centimeters in front of it. The greater curvature on the back of the screen doesn't help either.
With a similarly thick but less curved screen, it should theoretically fit correctly, although over 3mm there may be an issue.
Some users in my search have used 3D printed risers or makeshift solutions with zip ties to stabilize it, removing the back curved part from the "clamp".

Observation 2: I tried using a USB extension cable to connect it to the rear ports of my computer. However, through the extension, it loses power and cannot be properly powered. The result is that above 50% brightness, it makes a slight noise and the LED flickers, and after 4-5 seconds, it adjusts to 50% brightness. It works flawlessly with a USB hub.
The best solution, I think, is if you have a charger from an old phone and plug it directly into an outlet (5W and above).
However, even with a long USB cable, you won't have any problems.
Finally, if you have it connected to the screen, when the screen is off or in standby mode, it probably won't turn on because the power supply to the ports is disabled.

Unfortunately, you can't know how many Kelvins it is as it is not connected to any application. Now I can work late at night without straining my eyes from the tiredness of the whole day. I also have a lamp at the back of the screen at 4000K. It doesn't cause any significant reflections on the screen, only when the lighting is very strong.
