Revitalizes the color and appearance of dull and fogged plastics and fiberglass (GRP) (car bumpers, boat hulls, garden furniture, shutters). Renovates marble, tiles, slate, terracotta tiles whose color and appearance have faded. Revitalizes and renovates weathered paints and varnishes that have faded over time. Restores shine and protects chromed or polished metals: aluminum, chrome, copper, brass.
Before applying Polytrol, always ensure that the surfaces are clean and free of grease, oil, silicones, and are always dry. Cover the areas that will not be treated. If cleaning is necessary, use a solvent on the metal or a mixture of water and detergent, preferably Net-Trol on plastic. Rinse well and allow to dry for at least 12 hours. Cover the areas that will not be treated.
Carefully apply a layer of Polytrol. Watch out for runs (thoroughly rub metal surfaces with fine wire wool well-soaked with Polytrol). Leave it on for 10-20 minutes before removing the excess material by wiping it with a clean cloth or paper towel. Allow it to sit for at least 24 hours before use.
Work on small areas in stages to avoid uncontrolled drying of Polytrol. Avoid using POLYTROL on hot surfaces or surfaces exposed to the sun. Although POLYTROL is not highly flammable, soaked cloths should not be thrown in the trash as they are (risk of spontaneous combustion); they must first be dried.
I got it very reluctantly, I wasn't sure if it would work. Eventually, in whatever I have tried it does a nice job but it has a short lifespan, you need to refresh it often.
Very good product. We used it on all the aluminum parts (doors - windows in wood color) of the house that had become dull from the weather, and they became like new. It's as if we installed them yesterday! Easy to use (my wife did the job herself...) and it shows good durability prospects.

I used it on old car plastics as well as on an external brown door that had faded from the sun. Amazing result. It spreads easily, doesn't require a large amount, gives a nice shine without sticking if cleaned properly with a microfiber cloth. Honest product.
