Brushless Motor
Less wear, greater performance
The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

Very powerful, I pruned 35 olive trees, 15 vine roots like low vines, 10 fruit trees and I cut their branches and the battery still had life. Over 10 hours of work! It handles the 40 mm easily! If the wood is harder and the blade of the scissors gets stuck inside, a second attempt completes the first (always with caution, tools need care and attention to live long)! Pay attention to cleaning to avoid transferring diseases from tree to tree (e.g. olive cancer) and lubrication for good operation and longevity.
Without having experience in such tools, this one kills, slaughters, and amputates. Pruning is a piece of cake. Woods (soft or hard) up to 4-5 cm in diameter, it cuts them like butter. It worked for 3 hours effortlessly and its battery indicator has not lost a single line. Its downside is that it does not have a finger sensor, which means that during its use you need to be focused and careful. I liked its balance in hand and did not feel tired.
To evaluate it, I let two years of olive pruning pass. Not huge areas, I'm talking about one acre. But literally, I did all my olives, 22 roots with this tool. I cut branches up to 5 inches. It saved my hands. It didn't say no anywhere! Unfortunately, it doesn't have a 6th star to gladly give it. I bought it along with the telescopic pole and I didn't take the scissors out, nor do I intend to, so as not to lose any fingers. Pruning is now a pleasure. Its batteries are excellent, they last for 8 hours. I also pruned pear trees, orange trees, tangerine trees, lemon trees, vines, and jasmine, even manolias! I would buy it again with my eyes closed!
Excellent scissors, evenly distributed weight, good battery application!! First time I am used to the air scissors that cut faster, a little problematic, but in the end, the purchase was worth it!!
Another experience with an electric pruner, I have not! It is the first time I buy one. I put the batteries on charge and today I went to the field. We are talking about an olive grove, where the wood of the olive tree is very hard!!! I started at 10:30 and stopped at 17:30!!!! I couldn't finish one battery!! I don't know why they say it only lasts 3 hours... Because I wanted to see what it does, I worked it non-stop, in the small opening most of the hours, for the thinner branches (they say it consumes less battery this way) and wherever I found thicker branches, I put it on the large scale and continued. It didn't get stuck anywhere!!! With the first attempt, it cut everything, as if it was cutting paper!!!! Incredibly powerful motor, which ultimately does not consume a lot of battery!!!! After 7 hours of continuous operation, I can't say it tired my hand! It is quite well balanced!!!
If it had 10 stars, I would give them!!! It is quite quality in construction!! I highly recommend it!!!! You do your job, very quickly and without getting tired!
Update 15/07/2024
After a year of continuous operation, it stopped working. I called the company to see if they could help me. A very polite and helpful gentleman answered, who told me exactly what I needed to do to get it back on track!! In 10 minutes the pruner was ready!!!!! He informed me that, whatever happens, they can fix it!!!
Truly an incredible machine and PERFECT TECHNICAL SUPPORT!!!
Don't think about it, just buy it!!!
After a year, neither of the 2 batteries has lost life!!!!!
I agree with the reviews about the product that have been mentioned before.
It is a bit heavy but you get used to it.
The cost is indeed high. I have bought a cheaper ("Chinese") one and I will compare it soon. Surely, the battery of the Chinese one will not be as good as it claims, but it is also lighter (and costs only 1/3 of this one).
Anyway, there has been a good effort in the construction of this product and I hope the company will invest part of this high purchase cost in further research and development.
I have a very good relationship as an amateur with these tools, gardening and tree care. I have almost everything. From electric saws, battery-powered pole saws, etc. This impressed me. It was excellent. I have been using it for a week now and it has really saved me a lot of time and effort. It is definitely worth the money. Powerful, durable, with long battery life. It complements all the other tools I have and of course it was what I was missing. I hope it is durable over time.
They are all products of swansoft. I bought it, it had a gap between the blades (loose). I contacted the supplier, read the instructions, didn't get an answer on how to adjust it. Eventually, I saw a video from the manufacturer. Attention! First, we unscrew the small allen screw backwards. I repeat, the screw unscrews backwards. I deducted one star for this, and because its price is higher compared to other similar ones from the same company, with a different logo. I don't think, for example, they have a different blade or a different motor.
2 hours of work with the saw and classic pruner in a relaxing half hour!
It is a great investment for my mulberry pruning, which I personally need, but I believe it will not have any difficulty with olives either.
It has a very powerful motor, a large cutting opening, and two batteries for endless pruning.
It does not tire at all during use because it is well-balanced and makes the job a breeze!
I highly recommend it without hesitation!
It has been tested on olives, mulberries, and lemon trees. So far, everything is good. The half-opening is very convenient for faster cuts on small branches and battery saving. It has a progressive cutting feature, although I haven't tried it yet.
(My husband writes): I am very satisfied with this purchase... I had tried two of my friends' expensive shears, a FELCO and a PELLENC, and of course, I pruned vineyards, olive trees, and other branches effortlessly. When I wanted to get my own, I wanted something more economical, so I chose this one. While I expected it to be inferior, I ultimately made the perfect choice because:
1. It has a very good balance, and although it is theoretically heavier than the others with the cable and the backpack battery, it is much more comfortable. Also, the cable does not get tangled in your hands, and your back does not get tired from the battery "vest."
2. It has a very powerful and fast cutting ability, and as you will see in the video, it cuts even thick branches easily. Generally, it cuts whatever fits in its opening...
3. Its batteries easily last for 8 hours. Just at the beginning, the trigger is a bit stiff, so it is good to wear gloves.
4. The only difference I noticed compared to the expensive ones is that it does not have 2 cutting options, for example, for vine pruning and tree branches, but it does not bother me at all.
Overall, it is a very good purchase, and I use it constantly everywhere since it is so user-friendly.
The tool doesn't hesitate. It simply doesn't understand. Its power is so good that in a test I did on dry olive wood ~35 mm, it finished it in the blink of an eye. I tried it on lemon trees. It felt like cutting through butter. I wanted to come back after gathering the olives, but I won't because the test on dry olive wood convinced me. There is no question of enthusiasm, but the tool is what a professional needs to become an extension of their hands. As for the weight, don't be deceived, the distribution is sufficiently balanced and won't bother you. This is my humble opinion about my purchase.
I bought it because of the good reviews.
I used it for pruning orange and olive trees.
It didn't complain about anything, it cut everything it could fit.
Quick and clean cutting.
And the battery lasts for a whole day's work.
I am very satisfied
Bought in August 2023 for use mainly on olive trees but also on trees such as cherries, lemons, and cypresses. In the ten days that I used it, it proved to be quite user-friendly and effortless. It didn't struggle with large branches that I thought it wouldn't cut. So far, I am satisfied with my choice. It will also be tested on the olive trees, where the pole will be used. I will come back in 3 months..
I bought it for 70 acres of vineyards...
Very good pruner, it doesn't get stuck anywhere, it cuts everything. The batteries together lasted for 8 hours.
It's worth it and more!!!
First day on olives.
The construction seems sturdy, good metal on the blades and each battery lasted about 3 hours on voracious and very Kalamon (whoever understands).
The batteries were used without being charged after delivery, so they may possibly last even longer on full charge.
The charger has a dual plug and charges them simultaneously. (very practical)
The weight didn't bother me at all, maybe because it is indeed very well balanced.
The 40mm helps a lot and everything that fit was cut easily.
Overall, a very good impression for a start, I hope it withstands the test of time.
Very good scissors, I tried it on 500 small almond trees and 50 large fruit-bearing trees. I am very satisfied with the power and battery life. A bit heavy after hours of work, but definitely worth it.
I tried it immediately on young olive trees (8 years old). Completely satisfied, in 10 trees the battery didn't even go halfway. Faster than older electric shears, it easily cuts up to 3 cm in diameter. I highly recommend it, especially for those who want to work in their garden. Next purchase will be the telescopic pole!
It is very good and high quality! We mainly wanted it for pruning in the vineyard and its purchase helped a lot as the pruning was completed very quickly and effortlessly. No comparison to before! I recommend it!
This scissors is very good, I highly recommend it for heavy pruning. I have it for professional use. It has a long battery life and a very powerful motor. The only thing I didn't like is that it's a bit heavy, 1300 grams!
Very good pruner. I have had it for 2 weeks and I am very satisfied. It easily cuts up to 3.5 centimeters in thickness, but struggles at 4 centimeters and requires two or three attempts. Its battery lasts comfortably for four hours of olive pruning. I have not tried it on a vineyard where many cuts are needed. I have also purchased the telescopic handle, which is very useful. Those who prune many trees should definitely get it. It is nice that it has two cutting levels (2cm and 4cm) and despite its weight (1300 grams), it is very convenient. I highly recommend it.
I bought it this year along with the pruning shears for pruning about 150 trees (so far we have finished half of them and haven't encountered any problems). The telescopic pole is very helpful for reaching high branches. We would have saved a lot of effort all these years.
We pruned (with the help of the arm whenever needed) all the intermediate branches on 2 mulberry trees (each 3m tall and with a horizontal arm/branch width of 4m in a circular arrangement). It took us a relaxed 4 hours with small breaks, and we fully used one battery, which discharged around 3 hours and something. The pruner did not encounter any difficulty, even with branches of borderline diameter of 40mm. It is a sturdy construction, and we recommend anyone considering it to combine it with the use of the arm
Sturdy, durable, effective. It cuts the thicknesses it promises. It has strong blades and a resistant battery. It turns off by itself if you leave it after a while. Overall, it makes your tasks easier without worrying that it will betray you when you go to the fields. The carrying case is also nice. I have had it for a month, it is the first device I work with batteries and I have no complaints.
Very good scissors for professional use! I bought it and also bought the handle for the scissors. Very user-friendly and it turned out to be exactly what someone needs for pruning olive trees and other trees! It's worth the money!!!
