After almost a year and 6 long trips, the comments are:
- excellent protection.
- they are still hard/stiff and difficult to change gears due to their height at the end (if the 1200gs matters).
- Not so waterproof as they have gotten wet at times, very little of course, but not from high up on the calf. Low at the ankle height.
- I would like them to have longer straps, especially the 3rd and 2nd ones because when I put them over my pants, not enduro but travel, the 3rd one tightens too much and presses annoyingly on the spot. When I ride standing up, the situation improves a lot.
They get 4 stars solely because of the protection you feel like you're going to crash into a trunk and break the tree, otherwise I would give them 3
