Description

Installation

It is central and can be used either as the main water heating option for your home or as a supplementary. It can provide hot water throughout the house for your everyday needs, as long as there are suitable pipes for the distribution of hot water. This may potentially result in heat and energy losses due to distance.

Temperature Control

The temperature control of the water output is done proportionally and depends on the flow rate of the water, according to the selected power.

Compatible with:

  • Suitable for single (general safety 40 A) or reinforced single-phase current when the general safety is at 50A or 63A.
  • Connected in parallel (not in series) with other sources of hot water, e.g. solar or boiler.
  • More economical in power consumption by 30 to 40% compared to non-electronic instant water heaters and 60 to 70% compared to traditional water heaters.
  • The device can operate by automatically reducing its power, measuring the input-output temperature in relation to the water flow.
  • The operating power and consumption are controlled by the electronic brain according to the temperature and flow of the incoming water, in order to precisely select the desired temperature and maintain it stable.
  • Can be used individually or multiple, e.g. bathroom, shower, sink, basin
  • Flow switch - activates the device only when there is water flow.
  • Safety thermostat - protection against overheating
  • Outlet temperature sensor: Same for the output

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of heater that heats water in real time

.

It only heats the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no storage tank for hot water. This has many advantages, such as energy saving, as only the water that is used is heated, as well as longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and accumulation of salts in the heating element and other components.

It operates on electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and comes out in the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is that the pressure of the cold water inlet is not too low.

The temperature of the water is regulated by a thermostat, so as not to exceed a maximum value. The temperatures reached by the hot water are pre-set so that someone can use the hot water directly, without the need to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature that can be reached for hot water production is 60 °C, while the maximum flow rate of the water reaches up to 5 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are the standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There is no energy loss, as only the water that is used is heated at that moment. Therefore, there is savings on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the unused hot water goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold water, as in a traditional water heater. This results in water savings, in addition to electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the faucet, hot water starts running in a few seconds. A traditional water heater takes some minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the faucet open, we will have hot water.

The different thing about this water heater, compared to others I have used (quite a few), is its inverter function. It progressively gives you the hot water you "ask for" by opening the tap more, instead of being ON-OFF like most on the market, which can burn you when it's ON and turn off and freeze you when it's lowered. If you follow the water flow adjustment instructions, you will have the water you need at the right temperature constantly. Of course, I used it in the summer, but set to 1/3 of its power. I believe it will easily handle the winter as well, without much effort. A very worthwhile proposition that is worth its money.
