Very good keyboard. I replaced the switches with Ink Black v2 switches and also the keycaps. Very easy to use and durable, it has taken a lot of beating and still holds up. The software is okay so far, nothing special, it does its job for the RGB lighting, I haven't tried anything regarding macros, etc.
Very good keyboard. The buttons (gateron brown) do not make much noise or annoying, but you don't feel a click when you press it. The build quality is very good and the cable is good.
Accustomed to the deep/muted sound of the Romer-G (tactile) switches on the Logitech G413, my initial impression was mediocre with the GMMK (significantly taller keys+travel, lighter keypress, and a thinner sound).
Within a few days, I can say that not only did I get used to it, but I don't even want to go back to the G413. The GMMK is easier to type on, and I've gotten used to the sound (I wouldn't call it silent, but not bothersome at all). When I eventually apply some lube, I believe it will become even better.
Apart from that, the fact that it has hot swap switches and you can easily change them gives it a fantastic capability, whether for changing key styles or for servicing.
The software for the RGB lighting is indeed very simplistic, but I don't use anything else besides a low steady color illumination.
The construction is overall very good and well-crafted.
It takes several parameters, nice feeling, it seems sturdy construction but its cable is quite hard like a wire rope, poor feeling, I have it set with the mice model D of the same company and there the cable is soft
I always remember myself when I was buying a mechanical keyboard, that after a while I would get bored of the switches and want to switch to others. With this one, you simply never get bored. I have bought around 7 different types of switches and I change them every so often. However, the ones that won my heart are the Kailh Box Red.
As for the keyboard, it's truly awesome. Great customization options, superb build quality, and amazing RGB lighting. The great thing about it is that it sits almost flat on the desk with its feet folded. It makes it very comfortable even without a wrist rest. It also has sound isolation material inside the keyboard, which makes it slightly quieter.
Where it really lacks is in its software. It's really terrible. However, the good thing is that Glorious has already released a new software for the Gmmk Pro, which, as they announced, will make it compatible with all their peripherals. When that happens, we will be talking about the ultimate value mechanical keyboard.
