The flex 6 gt is top in this price category.
First of all, I would like to note that I only use it with a tractor whenever the review has to do with it. It supports it well, with a few settings that I have made even better. Good construction, at a level where the quality/weight ratio is perfect, as I need to carry it from store to store. Very good sound, both master and booth. Non-existent inputs, only microphone. Buttons and knobs are almost enough, I miss the search << and >> excessively, a big lack. It marginally deserves its price at the current price (700€), clearly inferior to the traktor s4 mk3, in my opinion, and also to the mk2, but its construction that perfectly resembles pioneer set (cdj's & djm), attracted me more.
I have been using it professionally for a year, I take care of it like my own eyes, and I can say that it is very good for its price, but in terms of construction, it is better to go for something else even if you have to spend a little more money. Within 3 months, the effects knob on one channel broke, everything is loose and it is a bit unstable overall, and it is generally a bit plasticky. Also, it does not have separate effects for each channel, which makes my life difficult.
Very good for professional use, I didn't expect it to suit me so well after the sx2 I had.. initially I was afraid of it.
2nd Pioneer purchase after the DDJ400, I switched to FLX6. Solid construction, perfect response, plug n play with USB, 4 channels, huge and high-quality jog wheels, perfect for starting scratching. Works perfectly with Rekordbox, haven't tried with Serato. It also has keys for both as a gift. The downside is that it doesn't have any inputs except for the mic. If someone wants to mess around, it's better to stick with smaller ones. If you plan to advance or have a semi-professional machine, this should be your first purchase before moving on to CDJs or the 1000 later. Around €620, it is recommended, it's full and it's value for money
Nice console and somewhat misunderstood due to the scratch/merge fx effects which you can choose not to use (just simple things) and due to the lack of ports which is not a problem for me. Four-channel with good build quality. It can easily be used professionally regardless of what some people who play it pro say. Do not hesitate to buy it, it is very good
