Excellent!
Let's start from the beginning.
Audiophile, technohead (among other things), sound engineer, and music producer for over 15 years.
SOUND - The headphones have excellent frequency dynamics and resolution. They reach levels comparable to In-ear Monitors from KZ and AKG. The tuning done by AKG is completely different from the V-shaped sound signature commonly found in mid to high-range in-ear headphones. (see connectivity below)
No matter what genre of music you listen to, they are extremely detailed in both electronica and rich in sound colors filled with natural instrument tones. In terms of frequency response, they excel!!! (I could give you numbers, but I would geek out too much. However, if anyone wants, here I am!)
CALL QUALITY - Superb. Excellent microphones, very good wind shield for air, and a few other goodies in the sensors. Overall, I had no communication issues or complaints from the other side under any circumstances.
ANC - The ANC is average. Simple and clear. There are much better ANC options out there. However, as an owner of the Sony WF-1000XM4, the sound of the buds pro, along with a few other things (see pro tips at the end), puts them about one and a half levels lower than the XM4 in terms of ANC, and on par with the AirPods Pro (in terms of sound, the AirPods Pro sit in the corner and cry ;))
FEATURES - Apart from the sound, the other features of the headphones justify the "pro" name. Watch videos to learn about the active talk sensing, how flawless the environment sound mode is, gestures, etc. (I control them from my watch 4 and I've found my bliss)
They are also REALLY sweat and water-resistant!
BATTERY - 5+ hours on the headphones with ANC on, and another 15-16 hours from the case. (I haven't tested it without ANC as much, but I assume the 8-hour claim is true, and the case without ANC lasts 25-26 hours, but again, I assume). The battery life is average compared to other options out there, but for me, using them for 3-4 45-minute sessions throughout my day, they are more than enough, as you can imagine.
COMFORT - Not the most comfortable, but not the worst either. (see pro tips at the end) They fit well on me, though!
CONNECTIVITY - Quick and easy pairing with everything, pseudo-multipoint with Samsung devices (seamless switching, for example, from the tablet where you're watching a movie to the phone when you receive a call). ALSO, they have higher volume levels on Samsung phones and other devices in general (blame Samsung's codecs).
In conclusion, excellent headphones for music, great for calls.
Pro tip 1: Throw away the silicone tips they come with and get Comply foam tips (or any cheap Chinese ones if you don't want to spend €12+) to enhance comfort (especially if you belong to the category that doesn't find them comfortable), ANC, and overall performance of the buds.
Pro tip 2: They work better in Samsung ecosystems (surprise, surprise), but you won't encounter any issues with other brands, at least when it comes to the basic functions of the buds.
There are alternatives, and even better ones, but they cost €280 and above. In this price range, for all the aforementioned reasons, the buds pro are kings (the buds 2 lose in some aspects due to sound quality).
That's it, I hope I helped ^_^
