Good and warm shoe but not suitable for mountain use. Its sole is soft and you can feel all the rocks and unevenness of the ground. If you want it for urban use, it is good.
Very good for city use, but not suitable for mountain trails and therefore not suitable for hiking!
It does not have a hard sole, like previous models, for example Salomon Evasion 2 Aero, but nevertheless it is not tiring. It does slip on wet sidewalks!
I would buy it again!
The grip with these shoes is out of this world! Already owning the brand's ankle boots and combat boots, I knew I was buying quality. However, I did not expect such a result! It's amazing how they grip everywhere on the trail, on dirt, on pebbles, on rocks, everywhere! But they are equally strong for everyday use. The Gore Tex membrane completes the package. They need a couple of days to "break in" and then the stiffness goes away, which surprised me because, for example, the combat boots (Quest 2 4D gtx) didn't need any. Their fit is generally narrow even though I chose a half size larger. If I were to wear thicker socks now that they are still new, I would definitely feel pressure from the sides. I assume this will go away as I wear them.
