Once the tray at the bottom is full, add another one. The worms will move upwards to the fresher materials, leaving the previous tray full of nutrient-rich fertilizer. As the waste decomposes, moisture is created, which filters the nutrients. This allows you to collect organic fertilizer in liquid form directly from the spout.
