I waited a few days of testing before writing a review to avoid any initial enthusiasm. It does what it promises for me, who doesn't have insomnia problems but wants to regulate my sleep schedule and duration because I wake up anxious in the mornings. Within half an hour of taking it, I feel drowsy. If I'm in bed, I struggle to keep my eyes open, and if I'm not in bed, I want to lie down and sleep will take over in a short time. I believe it helps with better sleep as the next morning I feel more refreshed and so far I haven't woken up with anxiety. The taste is a bit strange at first, but after a few seconds in the mouth, it becomes very pleasant, just like jelly. I would buy them again.
Update: I bought them a second time as I was very satisfied. What I wrote in my initial review still holds true.
I declare that before purchasing this product, I had read all the reviews and evaluations that I found on this website. I also asked two acquaintances of mine who had tried it and they told me positive things about it.
My experience after 9 days of use is as follows:
1) After half an hour of taking it, I feel a strong sense of relaxation and calmness. I fell asleep twice in front of the television (but I don't know if it was because of the product or because I was tired from work, so I woke up very early in the morning).
2) Only one or two nights I slept without interruptions. The other nights, my sleep was interrupted and the dreams were very vivid.
3) With the use of the product, I always woke up one hour before the alarm clock (which rarely happens to me).
4) These past two days that I haven't taken it, I have noticed that I wake up with the alarm clock (and not before) and my sleep is like when I was taking the gummies, meaning interrupted and with vivid dreams.
Therefore, I cannot say that it is an effective product for me. However, I can say that it relaxes me in the evening
I took it for 20 days but not continuously. I managed to skip 4 gummies within the 20 days. Then one day I woke up feeling dizzy even while lying down. And my appetite had decreased significantly. It requires great attention. The right thing is to take it only at night if you have sleep issues.
Very tasty and after a while it sends me to sleep!!! Exactly what I need. But let's not confuse it with sleeping pills! It is herbal and it calms you down to sleep. It's not for sleeping until tomorrow afternoon.... meaning its effect is for a short period of time.
They contain 1mg of melatonin along with extracts from natural aromatics. The dosage is significantly smaller compared to the 5-8mg of melatonin mentioned in scientific studies for the treatment of insomnia and nighttime anxiety in the elderly. I chose these specifically for the possible synergy of natural aromatic chamomile, lavender, and valerian with the action of melatonin. Each gummy weighs 3g and is mainly made of sugar. It may not be the best choice for those with diabetes. Their price was much lower than those at the neighborhood pharmacy (8.50€ instead of 12.50€). However, if I end up using 2 or 3 or even more gummies every night, I will need to look for something with a higher concentration of melatonin.
First, I would like to note that I have always had issues with insomnia and night-time stress.
Before trying Zzzquil, I considered these products to work more as placebos. However, it works 100%. And it is completely obvious from the first days that I started using it. Basically, it does what it promises.
Positives:
1. Much higher quality and deep sleep without interruptions. In the morning when you wake up, you feel truly rested.
2. It gives you a short nap most of the time, sometimes even 15 minutes after taking it.
3. Your dreams are indeed more vivid and you remember them much more easily. (I rarely have nightmares, and I believe it is probably due to stress rather than the Zzzquil)
4. Satisfyingly nice taste.
Negatives:
1. Definitely the fact that it contains sugar, which, apart from the obvious negatives for health and the exclusion of diabetics, can cause overstimulation in some people.
2. They spoil relatively quickly if not stored properly and their taste becomes distorted (quite unpleasantly). Afterwards, they are just for throwing away.
It helps me a lot, I didn't expect it because I always had a problem with sleep but it really works. I don't have nightmares when I take it, at least not yet.
It helped me a lot with sleep while I had an issue for years and couldn't find the solution! Of course, you also need to follow other rules of the circadian rhythm, such as having a dark room, waking up and going to bed at the same hours, etc. But this makes the biggest difference!
In 30-40 minutes, sleepiness has taken over me. The cravings mentioned in other reviews exist, but not as often. Whenever I take it, I will definitely wake up before the alarm clock and relatively refreshed. It is good to try a sample before getting the regular packaging to see if it suits you.
One night I took it and got scared. First of all, let me say that the one I took didn't work for me. 45 minutes had passed and still nothing, I was just a little more relaxed, but there was no way I would fall asleep. Double evaluation, we bought it together with my wife, we had never tried any sleep supplement before. We first got the known samples from the pharmacy, the sachets with the caramel and decided to buy it. The taste is pleasant, it melts relatively quickly in the mouth like a caramel (we DO NOT swallow it - it is not a pill), it is herbal, they say it does not cause addiction, it does not have sugar, etc. etc. However, our experiences are different. She really gets sleepy in less than 30 minutes and sleeps all night without interruptions, in other words, she dries out. For me, it doesn't bring drowsiness, but I discovered that if I close everything and lie down after 45-60 minutes, yes, I will fall into lethargy. The common thing for both of us is that if we wake up for any reason during the night, we fall back asleep easily. This is a very important criterion for me because it doesn't "knock me out", if anything happens (earthquake, fire, child, dog, noise, etc. - unfortunately, I now add flooding), you are not like a living-dead, you are like someone who was just sleeping. As for waking up in the morning, it is the feeling of "waking up an hour earlier" for both of us, meaning you have a feeling as if you woke up earlier, even if we have slept enough.
PS: Be careful because they stick together. Shake it vigorously and keep it in the refrigerator.
I have been using melatonin for two years, and in a much higher dosage. This specific one brings me dizziness as if you put me in a roller coaster, nausea, and consequently panic attacks
If you have slept like a cow 10 hours before and you take it, it is logical not to feel sleepy.... With that being said, personally, I have always had difficulty with sleep, only getting 3-4 hours and many times never falling asleep. The solution was found in the fourth heavy twenty minutes, where I have slept... very good sleep without side effects and when I wake up, I feel very refreshed... secret - (keep it in your mouth as long as possible and do not chew or swallow it because it will not work)
I never had a problem with insomnia. However, due to work, some days of the week I have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning and consequently, the previous night, I have to go to bed earlier than usual (at the latest at 23:00). In this context, this product helped me a lot, but only after incorporating it into a general sleep routine. That is: avoiding electronic devices after 21:00 (including my phone), dim lights in the house, relaxing music, reading, and around 22:30, I take the gel.
Indeed, I feel sleepy and sleep deeply around 23:00 to 23:30. Also, the next morning, I usually wake up on my own before the alarm goes off at 05:30, feeling well-rested.

Update 5/2/2023: Well, during the first month of using it, I did feel different, but after a while, due to strong anxiety and stress, it no longer seemed to help me. Even after changing my environment and calming down my daily life, the stress related to sleep remained, and I tried them again, but they didn't give me the desired result. The good news is that what helped me and now allows me to sleep like a baby are the relaxing meditation videos on YouTube! It's not a bad supplement, it's just that my own experience had reached an extreme point, and from there on, they didn't serve me anymore. Give the videos a try!

They gave me a free sample with an order I made. I have to say that when I saw it, it didn't really catch my eye. Especially when I read that it only contains natural ingredients and herbs. To my surprise, I took it around 21:30 and around 22:00 I started feeling sleepy even though I had already slept during the afternoon. I fell asleep at 23:00 and woke up at 7 am without waking up in between!

The instructions are a gel. It did nothing for me. Other times I tried two. Also nothing. And it's not like I have any severe problem. It seems to work for some people. I just evaluate based on my own experience obviously.
I believe it does what it promises in mild conditions. It makes you sleepy within half an hour and you sleep continuously. Minus one star because of the sugar. Why, guys? It's a supplement. You shouldn't feel like you're eating a Haribo gummy... Also, personally, I am concerned about addiction. And to put it more accurately (because it says it's not addictive), I am essentially concerned about whether the body will be able to cope on its own without the use of the supplement if it has learned to rely on the ready-made melatonin. UPDATE: I would say to first better address the issue that leads to your insomnia and then resort to such products if absolutely necessary, and in no case for daily use to avoid "addiction" as some claim that they need more after a while.
