I rate it 3 stars solely for this version. The game as a whole was very beautiful, with a highly addictive battle system reminiscent of the good old God of War, very clever lines and humor, and a good story. The puzzles at some points were literally reasons to completely abandon the game since they were incredibly time-consuming, illogical, and extremely repetitive with increased and more extreme difficulty in many areas. Overall, though, it was enjoyable, with chaotic amounts of collectibles and things to do. A major drawback was the voice actors, who were bad with terrible broken English like in Odyssey (without the ancient Greek to justify it). However, as a Gold Edition, I consider it the worst thing ever released, as out of the 3 DLCs it had, the first one was purely puzzle tracks, insanely difficult in many areas, which you played purely because you paid for it, the second one was a fake 2D fake open-world scenario of a random character, and the third one surprisingly very nice but very short in duration. If you're thinking of getting it, save your money and get the standard edition of the game, this specific one is truly a waste of money.

If someone had told me a while ago that Ubisoft would release this AMAZING GAME, I would have laughed. Except for AC: Origins, in recent years very few things from this particular company have caught my interest. Immortals is an incredible game that no one saw coming.

Initially, it is almost a copy of Zelda and it doesn't hide it. But it is a good copy and it keeps you hooked. There are some elements of Assassin's Creed and God of War, but the game mixes them nicely, adds some of its own elements, and produces a beautiful result. The cartoonish graphics are fitting and colorful, and the story is interesting with clever humor. The music is also exceptional (the composer of Ori is behind it), but where the game shines is in its gameplay. It is extremely enjoyable, just like the battles.

There is some map cleaning, but the tasks you do have meaning and help in upgrading the character's weapons/abilities.

I highly recommend it, especially the GOLD edition, which includes 3 fantastic DLCs that will significantly extend the time you will spend with the game! Enjoy!

If you like god of war and assassins's creed (maybe a little bit of Zelda), here you are.
The game reminds me a lot of AC odyssey. With cartoonish graphics, not completely Zelda, but not AC realistic either. Something in between. This initially confused me as a choice, but I quickly got used to it, somewhat softened by Tsushima and the approach of the old favorite Hercules from Disney.
The soundtrack is good, pleasant, and fitting.
It's an open world, you can go wherever you want, do whatever you want, almost in the order and as much as you want. When you get bored and want to progress the story, you know where to go. For someone with limited time, this is a blessing. Many reviewers criticize it for this because they want the Zelda approach, where you spend endless hours waiting to randomly stumble upon where you need to be in an expansive world.
For me, this made the difference and was the reason I finished Fenyx and not Breath of the Wild!
The reason I almost gave up on it and don't feel compelled to try it again, are some vaults. They have special trials that are mandatory to progress in the story and require a lot of creative imagination to teleport boxes/platforms in a way that reaches inaccessible areas. Some of these puzzles, without any clue from the game's physics and character abilities, can trap the player and possibly discourage them enough to quit. I imagine now there are YouTube videos showing the solution, which I had to look up when I played it early on because they didn't exist, but I still find it unacceptable for it to be required. Kids alone cannot pass these specific levels. These levels ruin the game and shouldn't be mandatory. It's a shame, it could have been one of the best of the previous year...
