The BlitzWolf WiFi Extender emits signals on two frequencies. It offers higher speeds compared to single ones and can connect to more devices. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most common and usually suffers from interference from neighboring Wi-Fi signals, making device communication more difficult. The 5Ghz frequency provides faster speeds than 2.4Ghz, but it is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g. walls) that reduce its range. This difference, along with its more limited usage, helps reduce interference from other networks. The repeater can provide up to 1200Mbps in total to devices connected to it. In practice, the actual speed shared with devices is closer to 200Mbps. For example, a high-resolution 4K movie requires about 25Mbps. The speed that each connected device will have depends on factors such as distance, obstacles, the number of other devices connected, the number of other networks in the same area, etc. It is Wi-Fi 5 generation, the most common Wi-Fi standard, which can meet the needs of most users at present. There is now also the next generation Wi-Fi 6, which offers the ability to connect many more devices to serve the increasing number of smart devices in a home. Connection via ethernet cable provides a speed of 100Mbps, which is sufficient for all needs, e.g. for a high-definition 4K movie, about 25Mbps is needed.
