Excellent lens, lightweight sharp and very fast af during the day.. at night it has small issues with af but understandable.
I worked with it for 9 months mainly for video use and less for photos. Now I am selling it.
2. Very good value for money lens, quite lightweight for hiking, traveling, etc. BUT - to become really sharp, you need to stop it down a lot - f8 and beyond. Also, even if it was sharp, the microcontrast was missing from the photos.
3. In morning situations, it is fine, but when it's dawn, it cannot cope with this aperture and the AF struggles a lot.
4. Also, it does not have OSS, so even in video, even with IBIS + Active Stabilization, you cannot shoot handheld professionally.
5. I would get it if I wanted a lightweight zoom to not strain my waist while hiking. But not for video. Maybe I'm not the typical user because all my lenses are prime (9mm F5.6 // 20mm F1.8 // 55mm F1.8 // 85mm F1.8). That's why I went for the 135mm F1.8, which becomes 200mm with APS-C crop, and if I eventually need the extra reach, I will also get a Sony 100-400 F4.5-5.6
Lightweight with good AF and sharpness. I recommend it!
Nice lens. I would like it to have an AF/MF button, but for the money, we can't have it all. It's worth the money!! And it has very fast focus.
