The best pruning shears by far. High-quality construction (Made in Germany), very sturdy and lightweight (~1.5kg), with available spare parts whenever needed. Essential tool for those mainly involved in olive tree pruning, I have had it for at least 7 years. What do I like most about the shears?
- It cuts branches with a large diameter (up to 50mm) like butter.
- The 90cm length is crucial when trying to reach higher branches with stability. Most shears on the market are 65-80cm.
- Low weight for its size.
- Sturdy telescopic aluminum handles with easy opening/closing.
- Large opening in the shears.
- Non-stick blades.
- Fallen branches on the ground can be easily "grabbed" (without bending down with your hand) thanks to the long extendable handles.
For a cutting diameter of up to 50mm, there is also the corresponding Wolf RS800V, but it is 10cm smaller (with non-telescopic handles).
Compared to the Gardena 760 that I also have, it is superior in class, longer (14cm longer), cuts larger branches (50mm vs 42mm), and has a significantly larger shear opening.
