For those who have experience with the title on last-gen consoles, what they will find in the new version is noticeably improved graphics and lighting, as well as a significantly improved shot meter compared to the PS4/XBOX One/PC versions, where the shot meter was truly unacceptable. I focused more on MyNBA, which is different from the version on older consoles, but not to the extent that it would change the experience. Also, what surprised me was the difficulty level in single player mode, always, even at the highest level, Hall of Fame... I don't know if it was just me, but the game seemed disappointingly easy at the highest difficulty level, and I'm not saying this as an expert in the series' gameplay, but as someone who always likes to have the maximum possible challenge in sports games, and compared to the older titles in the series, I found the difficulty level to be 1 or 2 clicks lower, which disappointed me.

One last thing that has nothing to do with the game as a game, but rather its performance on the XBOX Series X, is that I often noticed noticeable frame drops, which I definitely did not expect to encounter in a new title, especially for the next-gen consoles. Obviously, as developers work on the new consoles in the coming years, they will find ways to achieve even more visually and in terms of performance, so let's not condemn either 2K or XBOX for now, it's just something I think is worth mentioning.

Lastly, I believe that anyone interested in purchasing this title, who already has or had 2K21 for last-gen, would be wise to wait for the price to drop a little more, since we are talking about the exact same game, except for the graphics and shot meter.

However, I have the feeling that the times when 2K amazed us with each new release year after year are irreversibly gone... I'm very afraid that as long as there is no competition, we will reach this realization every year and more intensely.
