The GoldGlide plate is made of a special aluminum alloy that ensures faster and more even heat distribution across the entire surface of the plate. Furthermore, it has high durability and is particularly resistant to scratches.

Limescale is the biggest enemy of the ironing system. The Intellitemp device has an "intelligent" descaling system that reminds you with a light indicator and an audible alert to clean the boiler. Cleaning the boiler is easy and all you need to do is remove the cap and rinse it with tap water. By regularly cleaning the boiler, you extend the lifespan of the device, while simultaneously optimizing its performance.

Just bought it! It looks very good. It definitely produces a lot of steam! It shuts off on its own, after ten minutes for forgetful people.
In 4 months and not intense use (~1.5 hours per week), it started to release hot water from its plate. The flow of water it released was large, not droplets (see photos). Its use was impossible. Until then, I had been impressed by how well it ironed and its functionality.
While at first I was completely satisfied, after about ten uses, it started leaking water. I returned it to have it checked because it was under warranty, but since they were slow in finding spare parts and making repairs, I asked to be given another one and ultimately preferred to switch companies and pay the difference to buy another brand.
If it had 6 stars I would put. We're talking the iron is PERFECT AMAZING!! you want to iron with this iron. Really as soon as I press to release steam and iron, I simply pass it over the clothes and it makes it paper, all in no time .. I was amazed too! Finally a proper iron. It's worth every penny. Fast and good. The 8.5 bar are worth it. The 200€ are worth it. I highly recommend it.
The iron is excellent for its price and capabilities. However, there happened to be a small issue with its function in this particular product, fortunately it still had the manufacturer's warranty.

Unfortunately, after 10 uses, we also experienced the issue with the water it produces. It's a very serious issue as it ruins the clothes! I also took it back, but I didn't get any solution. It's a shame because it costs quite a bit of money, it's lightweight, but the steam turning into water in a short period of time is tragic. It's better to look for something else.
The iron does an amazing job, the amount of steam it produces may be even more than what it claims. I come from a more expensive Tefal with the same construction characteristics, and the Stiroplus is 10 times better
I am writing mainly to help. The iron is quite good, however, it started leaking water very early on to the point where we were annoyed. We took it to someone from the warranty and thankfully he told us some things about proper maintenance that we were unaware of. Initially, the company says that you can use bottled water. Big mistake, it quickly accumulates salts. However, what made the difference and we never saw it leak water again was that after each use, we remove the water container and either pour it out or leave it separately. Finally, whenever we want to clean it from the salts, we add a little white vinegar with water inside, leave it overnight, and it has been cleaned. It never leaked water again.
Strong steam and non-stick plate. Now I iron the sheets folded. It reduced ironing time.
The only downside is the noise of the pump that draws water. Basically, it's not the pump's fault but the quality of the plastic that sometimes creaks when the pump is working. They need to coordinate
So the usage I do is mild, 1 hour per week, okay it heats up quickly, produces enough steam but for the money I paid it's not worth it.... within 8 months the plate has burned twice, we took it for service because it was still under warranty but I was very disappointed, because it's a new iron and suddenly it stays in your hand where you iron. And generally when you have such an iron, you definitely need to have a backup simple one. Personally, I don't think it's worth the money.... I wouldn't recommend it.
It is a powerful iron with a lot of steam, lightweight. Its negatives are that it does not lock on the base for transportation and that it requires frequent cleaning from salts. However, I am completely satisfied with its performance.
I have had the iron for 1 year now and I am really completely satisfied with its (almost) daily use.
1) It heats up the water instantly.
2) It is very lightweight, so ironing is not tiring but enjoyable and fast.
3) Easy cleaning of the limescale, thanks to the notification, you don't have to remember when to do it.
4) Large water tank (which doesn't require frequent interruptions to fill it up).
The only drawback (which you know from the beginning when you buy it) is that the iron only attaches to its base (you don't risk touching it on another surface to avoid scratching the plate).
Overall, I am completely satisfied and pleased, and it is definitely a purchase that was worth 100% of its money.
Excellent ironing quality and speed. Its downsides: the iron does not attach to the base (I knew this before purchasing), making it dangerous to transport. It requires frequent cleaning, but I don't know if the method used is sufficient. In less than a year and a half of owning it, the flange of the boiler cap broke. I couldn't find only the rubber gasket as a spare part, so I had to buy a whole new cap for 11€
In the beginning, it was "flying" ... lightweight, produced a lot of steam but... luckily it is still under warranty. We took it twice, once the pump broke, the other time the steam valve. The service helped me immediately, but I'm afraid it might break again. Honestly, if it breaks, I won't buy this brand again.
I have ironed only twice and I am thrilled a) it doesn't drip AT ALL, b) the water tank has such capacity that I didn't need to refill it for 3 hours. Very lightweight. It also has two options, the regular one that works on ECO mode with satisfactory steam and the max, which I didn't need to use. I had a Tefal iron before that broke after 5 years and it wasn't worth repairing. But even that one was dripping a few drops, which I consider a problem. Update if anything changes.
Update: One year later and it still irons perfectly. And I have never used the max steam, I only iron on the eco setting. I am thrilled
I have this iron for a year. As for mine, it doesn't have any leaks. The water tank broke and I replaced it by ordering another one through Scroutz. You enjoy ironing as the saying goes.
Only 10 months of use and the iron started leaking water from the bottom. And now the boiler keeps running constantly, causing the water and salt indicator lights to blink. It is cleaned from salts and has water. And the indicator continues to blink and it doesn't work. It's not worth the 170€ I paid for it
After 7 months of use, while cleaning, water runs with every step for steam! It's a shame because it was very good but it's probably a matter of luck whether it will be defective or not!
Contrary to the recent comments, the device has been excellent for me! It doesn't leak or have any issues. The water tank can be filled with a large amount of clothes, the steam is abundant, and overall there are no problems. What can I say, maybe there was a defective batch or we are the lucky ones. I also chose it for the reputable and well-known brand. The only thing I find poorly designed is the cable management... a different wrapping solution would be better. Purchased in the summer of 2021 for €150
Owner of this device for 18 months, unfortunately it only worked for 6 months, the rest of the time it was either in service or on the way to service...
After the sixth month, every time I pressed the steam button, an incredible amount of water came out instead of steam.
And even though I followed the instructions to the letter, I was accused by the service center of using demineralized water instead of tap water, which I never did.
What a shame...
Stay away, it's really a waste of money.
One of my worst purchases, while ironing it turns off periodically and I have to press the On button again. Also, the iron was broken, I replaced it and still have issues. Regretted buying it.
It didn't even last a year and it's leaking water.. The company's service is terrible..

Do not buy it!!! After two months of use, it started leaking water. I cleaned it from salts, but the same issue occurred again. I cleaned it again, and in a few days, instead of steam, it released water again.... The product is terrible
Very good and practical, light and with a lot of steam, it is beautiful but also powerful, for now it has helped me a lot, we will see the continuation.

I bought it in April 2021 and it lasted until September with minimal and careful use. The pump broke.
One month of waiting for the spare part to arrive and be repaired, and today, February 2022, it broke again. Cheap construction compared to its predecessor.
Money wasted.
It leaks water after 4 months of use. I took it for service, it was still under warranty and they fixed it! If it happens again, I will come back with a new comment!

I bought it and in less than a month the plate burned out.
Okay, it was repaired immediately, but nevertheless, I was disappointed because a new product shouldn't get damaged so quickly. It's the first time it has happened to me.
Other than that, it is powerful,
Lightweight,
Produces a lot of steam,
I iron the sheets folded in four and they iron perfectly.
If it hadn't broken within a month, I would give it 5 stars.

I'm crying over the money I spent.
The easiest ironing!! At least 4-5 washes per week, I have been using it for at least 8 months.. Absolutely satisfied!!
I was thrilled that it is lightweight and has a lot of steam... The only negative thing I found is that it doesn't have a safety clip for transportation... of course, with a little caution, there is no problem... Excellent....
For serious everyday and heavy ironing, it is not suitable.... Purchased in 03/2021, it burned its plate in 10/21... Since 08/21, it displayed a signal for high salt levels every 3 days... which were cleaned using the method recommended by the manufacturer. The water used was from Athens tap! It didn't work with village water heavily saturated with salt... and we never put anything else inside... While all its technical specifications were perfect... it broke down early... We will miss the abundant and fast steam!
Amazing iron, I am very satisfied so far.
