Author Biography

Fran Preston-Gannon is an award-winning English author and illustrator with international recognition. Her works have been released worldwide, and in April 2011, she won the Sendak Fellowship, becoming the first British person to receive it. During the month she apprenticed at Maurice Sendak's home in Connecticut, she deepened her illustration skills. In 2014, she was honored with the Kate Greenaway Award and was nominated for the Waterstones Children's Prize, Cambridgeshire 'Read it Again' Book Prize, and The British Book Awards.
