Review this product
  • Top streamer, I believe the best under €2000. Its main sound characteristics are the incredible separation of instruments, the unbelievably "dark" background (when there is no instrument playing in the piece, there is complete silence), and the very wide and quite deep soundstage. It is impressive how clearly it places the singer at the center of the stage; I have never heard greater accuracy from this perspective. It may have an ESS DAC, but it is not at all "bright" (before this, I had a DAC with an AKM chip). It is incredibly musical, rhythmic, and does not fatigue at all. The highs are sweet and simultaneously detailed, the mids and lows are very descriptive but not overemphasized. Generally, it presents a balanced frequency set, from which musical instruments and voices emerge when they should and are as dynamic as the piece being played. It generally has the characteristic sound of ARCAM, which draws you in to listen for hours.

As a streamer, I mainly use it with Tidal and Bubble UPnP, and it is generally flawless. It does not freeze, the screen is easy to read and very beautiful. The only complaint I have is the MusicLife app for mobile, which is terrible. However, one can completely overlook it because it is not necessary.

After testing, I found that it supports resolutions up to PCM 24bit 384kHz and DSD128.
