I personally believe that they don't hurt me because when I first got them, I went through a process where I "opened" them so that I wouldn't have this problem. I would do this for every pair of boots for sure. As for comfort in everyday use, they become heavy after a lot of walking. But for their price, they are worth it. P.S. I have had them for almost two years and they only have a few scratches which can be fixed with paint

Very nice boot, a bit heavy so I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use. Also, one of the boots had a slightly bad form in the sense that the laces don't align in the middle of the shoe but more to the left, resulting in the leather breaking more easily as if you stumble. I noticed it from the first use, without it bothering me practically, only aesthetically and compulsively. Otherwise, a pretty good purchase!
