In this volume, seventeen texts by social scientists are hosted, which approach the concept of space through their research practice and the methodology that arises from their relevant scientific interest.
The selection of the theme was dictated by the need to problematize this concept, within which the significance of identity, diversity, and multiplicity is in a constant process of formation and reformation with socio-cultural and politico-economic terms.
The purpose of the volume is to highlight this dimension of the concept of space as an interactive totality, which involves social relationships that, mediated as they are by economic and political factors, in turn result in the continuous reshaping of it, shaping territories of both social practices and scientific research.
