It has 2 very sharp blades (be careful because you can easily cut yourself!). One is for peeling and the other is for julienne. The peeler glides easily on the surface of the vegetable, fruit, etc. Potatoes are cleaned in no time. As for the julienne blade, it does a very good and fast job. However, I must say that there is some resistance (a characteristic of julienne tools). But if you rotate the vegetable a little while cutting, then it cuts very easily. Overall, I am very satisfied. The blades are really super sharp and the stainless steel construction is very sturdy.
