Don't be stingy, it's worth every euro, and even more
It is the third arm that I use on my personal computer (the previous two were simply placed on other computers in the office). I had the Dell MSSA18, which I was relatively satisfied with, but I wanted a greater range in terms of screen height, so I replaced it with the top value for money arm from Brateck LDT13-C012, which is simply unbeatable and excellent in terms of quality and functionality! However, my wife was complaining because the Brateck arm was tighter in movements and generally did not move as easily when she sat at my desk and wanted to change the position of the screen in terms of height and distance.... So after a lot of complaining, I made the decision to splurge (to avoid the nagging and keep my head calm, I would pay whatever it took) and ended up with this arm to hold my Dell Ultrasharp 25-inch monitor, hoping that its movement and adjustment would be much more comfortable than the previous arm.
The arm is very good and sets high standards in terms of quality and ergonomics. Its assembly is a piece of cake and it can support both Dell monitors and any other VESA monitor. It is sturdy and can hold a monitor up to 38 inches. Its base occupies a piece of the desk with dimensions of 11x11 cm, so make sure your desk has the necessary depth from the edge for it to securely attach. It has a channel for cable management (power, USB, video, etc.) and overall has a serious, professional, and "neat" appearance. Moving the screen is very easy with one hand, it is only tight in the height adjustment (especially when you want to lift the screen), where you simply need to hold the screen with both hands. Unlike the Brateck LDT13-C012, it does not "loosen" and does not require tightening over time. You can place the screen wherever you want, it has a particularly wide range of movements and will satisfy even the most demanding or peculiar preferences in terms of height or distance, whether you want to place it higher or lower, behind or in front of you, while being especially suitable for those who need to frequently move their screen and want to easily readjust it. It also has various adjustments to bring it exactly to your liking, as well as safety locks, which are detailed in the Dell manual and in videos on the internet (for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ-M27RLazA). It is perhaps one of the most high-quality and ergonomic arms on the market and the best one Dell has released (I have seen and used both the MSSA18 and the MSA14), which explains its high price.
In summary, it is an excellent arm at a high price that will satisfy even the most demanding for many years. However, if you want an arm and do not need to move the screen and change its position frequently, then it is better to go for something cheaper and practical (such as the Brateck LDT13-C012), as this arm, as good as it is, is not value for money. The price of around 150 is certainly high for an arm, no matter how good it is, but on the other hand, I managed to avoid my wife's nagging, so personally, it was worth the financial sacrifice. On the other hand, you don't change the arm every year and it is more likely that you will keep this arm and change two or three screens over time, so from this perspective it is worth as an investment for the future because it is a product that you will definitely keep for a long period of time
Very high-quality base. Very easy to assemble, it accommodates a Dell 25" which can be moved naturally for fun.
It has the ability for 180 and 360 rotation, as well as cable channels. It is truly perfect!
Very good base snaps directly without screws on the back of the Dell Ultrasharp 3219Q. It moves very easily as if the screen is feather-light. Very ergonomic and great cable management
