Indeed, it has a small issue in the perimeter line which cannot be fixed with any combination, but the pieces fit so tightly that you have to really look closely to notice it.
The foam is indeed very dense compared to cheaper ones. It has a textured surface and it feels like the little feet and hands stick to it a bit, as they are always wet. I consider this a positive aspect because I bought it specifically to help the baby with movement, as regular gym mats are very slippery.
To understand how sturdy the foam is, I managed to adjust the bars from a Taff gym I had, and even though the little one pulls, pushes, and hangs on it, it hasn't caused any issues with the application of the pieces.
Like everything with a pattern, it requires some attention when cleaning. It says it can be swept, but personally, I only use a swiffer. If it needs washing, I do it locally with plain water or wipe it with baby wipes (it says on the packaging not to use strong cleaners... besides, the baby licks it).
I got it in the color clay, which is beautiful. It's like a very light brown with hints of ochre. Depending on the lighting, it can appear slightly more red or less.
We have this specific floor for only 5 months and the surface with the print started peeling off at the joints. Unacceptable for such an expensive product. So what sets it apart from the equivalent cheap ones on the market? Only the design... It's not worth it in any case
Very bad application, for a year now. The tiles constantly come out of their place. It's not worth buying them.
The product is advertised as luxurious but that is not true. The printing has not been done well, resulting in the pieces not fitting together correctly. Apart from that, it is like any other baby puzzle mat. It definitely does not deserve the increased price.
In my opinion, it's rubbish, not that it's bad but it's a rug that slips already, it's not worth so much money, better a quality rug
