No resemblance to the usual Hoka, heavier with a tight fit and thickly made. I wear size 41 and it didn't fit me at all, so you should know that at least one size larger is needed. Its sizing is very short, I got size 42 and I think I'm wearing a size 38...

I am overweight and work 12 hours a day, carrying weights while standing. For the first time in my life, I wore these shoes and they relieved me so much!!! I am worried that I won't find something similar once these wear out. (I chose this specific model after extensive research on which shoe is best for my plantar fasciitis problem. Did you find this review helpful?I bought them a month ago for use at my job, which involves 8 hours of standing and a lot of walking. Honestly, I didn't expect them to be so comfortable. After the 8-hour shift, my feet are rested and I don't feel any pain in my knees and joints. In terms of size, they differ slightly from the size I wear in Asics and Nike athletic shoes. Specifically, I wear a 44.5 in Nike, but for the Bondi SR, I needed a 45 1/3. This difference is mainly due to the thick cushioning of the inner lining, which keeps the foot stable. As a result, the width/fit of the shoe is slightly narrower, especially in the toe area. The weight of the shoe is 400g compared to the Bondi 8, which is 320g (from which it originates), and the Nike Pegasus, which is 280g and I wear as athletic shoes. However, this is justified due to the waterproof leather upper, the non-slip sole, and the larger shock-absorbing EVA sole (compared to the Pegasus) that extends throughout the length of the foot. However, compared to a casual shoe, you won't see a big difference in terms of weight, while compared to a safety work shoe (which has toe protection), it is lighter. As for its quality, I have no complaints so far. If anything changes in the future, I will come back to update.

The difference is night and day. In terms of slip resistance, both brands are good, but in terms of comfort, HOKA shoes are truly on another level. You feel like you're walking on clouds, and after several hours on your feet, their soles really prove their worth. They are clearly more expensive than other comparable brands, but I believe that in terms of quality and comfort, they are worth their price.
