The AMD Ryzen 3 3100 is a quad-core processor designed for AM4 motherboards. It offers increased performance compared to its predecessor, with this model having a base speed of 3.6GHz and a maximum speed of 3.9GHz. Additionally, it features 16MB L3 cache and supports memory up to 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM. It has a 65W TDP. It is also unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked beyond the maximum turbo frequency.

I have been using this processor for almost a year and I am amazed! It works perfectly in combination with a 1660super! I would give even more for this processor! Temperatures are always low to slightly high even during heavy gaming (without overclocking of course!) It is definitely worth it and more!
I have been monitoring this specific processor for a while now. Every 10 days, it increases by 10 euros. It used to be 110 euros a while ago, and now it is 140 euros! It's only worth it if you can find it for 110 to 120 euros at most! If you have a little extra money to spend, go for the Ryzen 5 3600!
The best choice to pair it with a 1060-1660-2060Super GPU. Mine, with overclock, managed to reach a stable 4.3GHz @1.2V!
I put this little monster in combination with 12 gigabytes of RAM at 2400 and a 4GB Gigabyte 1650 mini, and all the Forza games (3-4-6-7) which are some of the most demanding games, and I can say that it competes (in gaming) with the 2600X that I have in my office for multiple uses (multitasking, video editing, etc.). Overall, at 98 euros, it is the best choice in my opinion!
