Everything is fine when receiving calls, but it cannot make calls. We took it to a technician and they couldn't find the cause.

I bought this phone AEG in May 2020. On October 4th, the sound suddenly stopped. We brought the other phone we have in the living room to the line where I had the AEG and it works fine... In the end, I took the AEG to an electronics friend who concluded that the problem is from the device. Unacceptable for a well-known brand, even if we didn't pay a lot for it, it's still a waste of money...

The only downside I found is that in open listening, the other person cannot hear me, despite the quietness in the room.

Decent phone but due to faulty construction, it did not have call recognition, even though it is provided for and mentioned in the user manual. And not to mention, the store where I bought it did not take it back to replace it, as they should have...

+ The build quality is satisfactory (although it is Chinese, of course).
+ Ease of use (with 3 direct memory positions, it is convenient even for older people).
+ The screen is readable and the brightness level and viewing angle are satisfactory. I didn't try it on the wall, so I don't know how it will look there...
- The ringtone has only two levels and is not particularly loud (subjective opinion as I am hard of hearing...)

For the money I paid (€26.5), I wouldn't call it cheap and I probably "bit the bullet" because of the AEG name.

In a short period of time, after one month of operation, the batteries ran out and it lost all the calls from the recognition list. The speakerphone doesn't work as it keeps cutting out, so you can't have a conversation.

Quality construction, strong sound in conversation and open listening, the only drawback is the moderate viewing angle of the screen.

Quality construction (not "cheap"), excellent sound quality, adjustable ringing volume with a potentiometer (not just low - loud), the screen lights up as soon as you lift the handset, and the best part: open conversation, the caller can hear someone speaking from the other side of the room, it has a very good microphone. I already plan to order another device like this. I highly recommend it, it is very good.

I have had it for about two months and I am very satisfied. It has a small issue with the screen contrast as the letters are not visible from any viewing angle, but nevertheless, for the money I bought it, I would highly recommend it.

Reviews on other illuminated screen phones mention that the letters are unreadable and dull. In this phone, the contrast of the LCD screen can be adjusted from the default setting of 4 to 8, making it very readable from all angles. It has clear sound and the speakerphone can be adjusted to a very loud volume. The downside is that (which I think other phones also do, but not mobile phones) there is no memory for caller ID. So, we only see the number when someone calls us and not the name, as incorrectly shown in the phone's image "PAUL JONES" below the number. It has a low ringtone volume setting, but not a silent one.

It cannot accept rechargeable batteries due to their low voltage (unless they are Lithium).
