Diving Knife Mamba
I can't believe it has this quality at this price, I got it out of curiosity, 20 years ago we used to pay 100€ for such knives!!
It rusts after one dive, the knob on the back came off by itself after 2 hours in the water. Not sharp at all, I had it to euthanize the fish, and it took a lot of effort for the tip to penetrate the fish's skull
You will easily lose it in 2-3 outings because its case holds it weakly... but the case will stay with you!!! And as I noticed today on Valentine's Day, it has already separated from the case...
I haven't used it as I bought this and another one (I tried the other one first and loved it), so it's just sitting there. For some reason, it has started to rust on me without even touching water... tragic...
No comparison with higher-priced knives. The sheath, as others have mentioned, is made of poor plastic and the knife's closure is not stable. It easily rusts and mine did not cut well from the moment I received it. It's better to get a smaller one at the same price.
In relation to the prices I see on similar knives, its cost is affordable. It weighs well in the hand, is satisfactorily heavy, and appears sturdy with good construction quality (for its price, of course). The only problem is the locking mechanism. The plastic sheath is more fake than it appears in the photo, and when the knife is locked, it annoyingly gets stuck inside the sheath (I deduct one star for this). On the other hand, the release button is large enough to find it blindly underwater and while wearing gloves, and as a left-hander, I highly appreciate the fact that the knife can be locked from both sides (which is not a given in other knives).
It is worth its money, after every dive I rinsed it with fresh water and even now the blade remains sharp. A very good knife for the price, it is worth it
At first, everything was fine.. After every dive in the sea, I rinsed it with fresh water and everything was okay.
About a month of use later, it started showing rust in various areas. As time went on, more and more rust appeared (the photos are from the initial phase when it started rusting). I tried to scrub it, took it to a store to sharpen it, and also sought a second opinion on its cleaning. In the end, it started rusting even faster and now it is useless.
