Heraclitus is such a bright existence that when you look at him, your eyes lose the ability to see; the light is too much for you. You are not accustomed to so much light. Therefore, before gazing at Heraclitus, you must make some preparations.
When Heraclitus speaks, he seems enigmatic because he expresses himself contradictorily. Those who know always express themselves contradictorily. There is a reason for this. They are not enigmatic; they are very simple. But, what can they do? If life itself is a contradiction, what else can they do?
To avoid contradictions, you can create neat and clear theories, but they will be wrong. They will not be true to the reality of life.
Aristotle is clear, he is clean; he resembles a well-kept garden. Heraclitus is a wild forest.
