  Very good construction but also very heavy, they remind me of military boots, they weigh 950 grams each from what I can see. They seem more suitable for mountain climbing and for outdoor activities, as they have a very thick and hard sole to withstand rough trails. If you want them for the city, they may not be convenient due to their weight, but they seem to have great durability. They have a soft cushioning in the sole, but don't imagine them as athletic shoes. I would definitely prefer them again and highly recommend them, I just wish they were lighter. One small detail, those with high insteps need to get a larger size because the laces won't reach to fasten. I wear size 45 and they don't even reach half an inch. I don't know if this will hold up

  The sandals have good (to very good) construction quality, and, as others have mentioned, they are hard on the sole, as every hiking sandal should be. A soft sole, in no way, can withstand the thorns during mountain hiking, while this one here won't suffer any damage.
  If you want them for use in the city or at the beach, they may not be the most comfortable choice.
