It overheats and hasn't closed a month in the possession of a friend I gave it to. Otherwise, it makes nice coffee.
Honest machine for its money, (I no longer have it as I got the gaggia classic which is a top choice for a home machine with a 58mm group like the professional ones) it is not professional of course but you can drink a decent coffee if you have a good grinder. Keep in mind that the most important thing is to have a good grinder to drink a proper coffee. This specific machine can also work with cheaper grinders because it does not have high demands for very finely ground coffee, for example the gaggia grinder that cost 100€ was ok for this machine, when I bought the gaggia classic machine I had to buy a professional grinder because with this grinder the coffee was running smoothly even at the finest setting... If you can and have a passion for espresso, spend extra money and get the gaggia classic, if you want to make a quick coffee to wake up before work, this machine is ok.
As a first coffee maker after a capsule machine, I have to say that it is awesome and generally gives you the freedom to experiment. I chose this one because of the brand and build quality
Purchased on March 12th, it makes very good coffee. There is some noise, but not too much, and it works fine. It is a quality machine for its price, very good and made of stainless steel. The boiler takes a little while to heat up from cold, but overall, it has a very good taste, depending on the coffee. I never use frothed milk, so I don't have an opinion on that. I haven't descaled it yet, but I believe in the stainless steel boiler's durability and resistance to vinegar, unlike aluminum. If I encounter any issues, I will mention it again. If I were to buy it again, yes, but I would look for one with higher wattage, a stainless steel boiler, and not a thermoblock
I didn't have any espresso machine before, but I have had this one for two years and I have enjoyed it. I make 2 to 3 coffees daily for the past two years. I have tried different brands but I have ended up with the buondi classic blend and I have enjoyed it. It's much better than many that I get outside... I rarely drink another coffee anymore. I can't make cappuccino well. The milk foam doesn't come out good. Maybe it's my fault, maybe it's the machine. I have tried different milks but I haven't been satisfied. As for espresso, there's no discussion... it's amazing! Like a coffee shop... I'm actually thinking of buying another machine like this for my summer house because I take it back and forth during the summer...

Personally, I was disappointed... I expected it to be much more high-quality in terms of the final product, but after 8 months of daily use and many tests, I do not enjoy its coffee. I have tried everything available in supermarkets, I have tried grinding the coffee myself, I have even brought in a professional to show me if I am doing something wrong... but in the end, nothing. I consider the 15 bar pressure very negative. The previous one I had was cheaper at 20 bar, but its coffee was almost perfect.
I don't know if I did something wrong, but I gave it 4 stars because the first cup doesn't get hot and then everything is fine with the second one. Moderate noise doesn't personally bother me because my previous Krups machine made more noise, so it's fine. The foam it makes is really good!
I have it for almost 3 years since the beginning of the first quarantine. I make 2 coffees a day and after a lot of experimentation and searching, I have only good things to say about the machine. The only negative is the double dose which is indeed "small" for some tastes, but for me personally, it is enough. If you play with the grind setting and the varieties, you will find exactly what you want and the coffee you will make at home will truly have nothing to envy from the best coffee in the hospitality industry.
I have it for a month. Excellent machine. I am not a professional, but the espresso and cappuccino I make are comparable to those I drink in cafes. The coffee must be properly ground. I put it on 2.8 and I am still experimenting. I buy coffee from Coffee Island. The frothed milk is excellent. I am very satisfied and I think I made a good purchase. I hope it lasts.
UPDATE: I searched for a larger closure, but it doesn't exist. It takes ese-pods, but it's better with ground coffee. I also searched for non-pressurized and still didn't find any. If anyone finds one, let us know, although the coffee, as I said, is very good for my taste. But I'm still experimenting.

Very good, smaller than it appears in the photos, fits better in the kitchen! It's worth the 102 euros I paid. I struggled unnecessarily to put the ESE filter while it had the other one already installed. The noise lasts for a few seconds before the pouring. Get it!
Just 5 days of use. It takes a little while to heat up, but it's okay. The noise is moderate, tolerable. The foam is so-so compared to the previous one I had. Maybe it needs a different coffee blend. I will try other blends. Usually, I buy pre-packaged. We'll see. The temperature of the coffee is quite hot. Overall, quite satisfied. I haven't tried frothed milk yet.
I still haven't managed to make a good coffee since the 2 scoops it can hold at most are too little for my taste and it seems light to me. I'm looking to replace the filter so that it can hold a sufficient amount of coffee. Other than that, it's easy to use, fast, and makes good froth milk
Quality construction. Average quality coffee for the month that I have been using it and average froth. It heats up in about 90 seconds, burns excessively on the top and takes a while to cool down even after turning off the machine. The machine fully cools down after 1.30 - 2 hours, which seems very strange to me. Also, moderate results with milk frothing. I am not completely satisfied, I don't know if I would buy the same one again, but I will come back with a new comment in a little while after using my espresso machine more. We have had it for about 3 months and we are very satisfied. We make about 4 coffees per day. For a household appliance, it is excellent, I highly recommend it.
Having the initial goal of the gaggia classic but with a limited budget, I have to say the following:
If someone removes the pressurizer from the basket and completely controls the grinding process, they can achieve a result very close to a much more expensive machine. Tips:
1) Remove the pressurizer from the basket so that you essentially have a non-pressurized (under certain conditions, one can make a naked pf if they remove the closure, for more experienced users).
2) The double basket needs to take 13g of coffee in order to produce a dry "biscuit".
3) Some experimentation with the in-out ratios is needed to achieve the correct result: 1/1.5-1/2 coffee weight/final yield weight. Personally, I make two coffees with 13g of coffee for a final yield of 22-25g (x2).
FINALLY... freshly ground coffee is day and night.
Attention: The closure is 51 millimeters, so anyone wanting to make modifications will face considerable difficulties.
A good coffee maker to start in the world of manual espresso before moving on to more expensive models and buying better barista tools such as a tamper, etc.

Overall:
- I have not yet found the right grind for the ideal extraction. When and if I do, I will update my comment.
- Probably due to the grind, according to the videos circulating, the coffee puck in the filter comes out quite wet, making it a bit difficult to clean because it requires rinsing before making the next coffee.
- The double shot filter barely fits 2 scoops of coffee and requires a good amount of tamping before pressing the coffee to prevent it from spilling out. I solved this issue by using a DIY paper funnel to pour the coffee.
Update 26/4/2021:
- Coffee grind around 2-2.3 for coffee shops that have this setting (e.g. coffeelab). After purchasing a grinder (Cunill Tranquillo), the grind can be done at home, and for this specific grinder, aim for around 20 notches from the finest cut.
- As another user mentioned, de-pressurize the filters and you will see a significant improvement as the pressure applied to the portafilter becomes meaningful and creates real crema. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk8SA-19E9w&t=179s shows how it's done until the middle). Also, this way, almost all the water will be drained, and the coffee puck will come out with an easy tap, without requiring much effort to clean between coffees.
- By purchasing a regular tamper along with a leveler from Amazon/AliExpress/etc., I think you will come very close to a good coffee - and anyone who wants can also get a bottomless portafilter.
I have it for almost 2 years now and it's worth its money, and if someone is in this budget, I would recommend it to them. It's not automatic, it doesn't make much noise, and it makes perfect frothy milk and chocolate with its nozzle! Obviously, it's for home use, so don't expect the coffee that a café would offer you, but it makes a decent coffee and a decent frothy milk! It will pay off no matter what. The only negative thing I have to say is that it doesn't heat the water too much, so if you leave your hot coffee for a while, it becomes lukewarm directly! That's why I have a tip for you, not only for this device, but also for similar ones: Warm up the cups that you are going to put your coffee in! Put water in the kettle and when it heats up, pour it into the cup. The cup will start to get warm. Leave it with the hot water for a few minutes and when you judge that it has warmed up enough, empty the hot water, dry it, and place it under the machine when you are going to make your coffee. Also, if you want, you can add water from the kettle to the container, so you don't use completely cold water from the tap, in order to have your coffee ready faster. The result is that it comes out perfect and at the right temperature for the coffee!! Of course, for your convenience, you may prefer to get an automatic one, but among the manual ones, I consider it to be one of the good ones!! That's why I recommend it!
Very good for its price, I am still doing some tests on the pressing and cutting of the coffee, but I have come quite close to the desired result. The big disadvantage is that it does not fit the 17gr of my favorite coffee (taf) that are required to make freddo Espresso, but it didn't even cross my mind... I have no opinion on the milk frothing, I have no idea how to make it but it seems quite powerful.

In general, it is what I expected. Good coffee, nice foam, easy cleaning. The negatives I found are the small water tank (only 1 liter) and the steam nozzle which does not have adjustable steam intensity, it goes straight from 0 to 100!!
Let me start by saying that my previous coffee maker was the Gruppe Italiana CM 4677. I had it for 6 months and I made 2-3 coffees daily. It was decent, good for a beginner. However, this one, with just a slightly higher price, significantly raises the bar, the difference is strongly noticeable. The coffee in the Gruppe used to flow like water, overly fast extraction that is. This resulted in the coffee being more watery than it should be. This one has a normal extraction, and therefore a much fuller result. The construction is clearly more sturdy and made with better quality materials, which also makes it more visually appealing. The nozzle, while in machines of this type tends to be weak, in this one it creates proper froth, the volume of milk triples no matter how much milk you put (e.g. 5-day-old milk), while in the others it required 30+ (personally, I remove the extra foam on top with a tablespoon). Also, the group is quite more solid and locks in more securely compared to the Italiana, which seemed somewhat unreliable. I bought it for 89€ and I highly recommend it if you are on this budget, I enjoy it every day :)
