The book utilizes traditional teaching methods while simultaneously introducing innovations for a more effective approach to ancient Greek language, in accordance with the Ministry's guidelines for the examination of the subject in the Panhellenic exams.

It includes 30 texts (approximately 20 lines each) anthologized based on the main syntactic phenomenon present in them.
For each topic, the following are provided:
- An introductory note that places the text within the entirety of the work from which it was extracted and provides external information for its understanding
- The text - Its translation
- A diagrammatic presentation of the text's structure (semantic segments - structural rearrangement) to highlight the author's linguistic choices, the sequence of meanings, the coherence of main and subordinate parts
- Text comprehension questions
- Semantic and morphosyntactic comments
- Detailed syntactic analysis
- Theory and examples for understanding the syntactic phenomenon
- Grammar and syntax exercises based on the text as well as additional ones for consolidating knowledge

Following are 36 topics for study and revision: each text is related to a syntactic phenomenon and is accompanied by an introductory note, semantic comments, structural rearrangement, comprehension question, syntactic analysis, translation, and exercises.

At the end of the book, answers to all comprehension questions and grammar and syntax exercises are provided.
