The truth is that I did not buy the product to cut meat, but to make traditional Easter cookies (my mother had a similar machine). I bought this one because it seemed to have better construction. And it does have better construction, unfortunately it cannot meet my needs. The attachment that functions as the nozzle for the cookies 1. does not fit well on the machine and dough comes out from all sides, and 2. it is very small, basically the size of a cookie or pasta and not suitable for cookies. I have not tried it for minced meat (if I needed something for minced meat, I would have bought an electric device and not a manual one). I don't think I will ever use the product again.
