    The case does what it describes, Smart Cover. I have it for an iPad 7th gen. It covers the screen and also functions as a stand. The magnetic contacts are highly functional.
    It is not a bulky case and does not protect the back metal part or the frame of the iPad.
    I prefer it because of its weight, as the iPad is already heavy and a full cover case would make it even heavier, thus more tiring to use.
    It could definitely be cheaper.
