I also ordered the corresponding filters from the Chinese site for my accounting office. I use 2 Winix machines daily due to dust, bacteria, etc. There is a difference in air quality when using imitation filters compared to the original filters that I have been buying for so many years. There is also a smell coming from the filter itself. I contacted the dealership and mentioned the problem. They told me that Chinese filters are not able to trap small particles such as dust, viruses, etc. due to their low density in the weave of the Hepa. Therefore, we are breathing in all the dirt again. They suspect that the smell coming from the filter is from the material they are made of. Unfortunately, although the Chinese ones are indeed cheaper, I was not satisfied at all and I have to throw them away and buy the original ones again.

As filters, they are very good.
The smells indeed disappear in a few minutes.
However:
The replacement filters are very expensive.
I found the same ones on a very famous Chinese website and ordered them from there for 80% less than this price.
The job they do is exactly the same, they filter the micro particles very well.
The air quality is exactly the same, I haven't found any difference at all.
Now everyone can decide what they think is best!!
