I have had them for a year now. I live in the countryside and often do agricultural work in rough places, fields, ditches, gardens... They withstand everything. They are waterproof, but they are low boots, not rubber boots, obviously. They don't keep your feet very warm in the summer. The only downside is the choice of laces, change them immediately because they always come undone and get caught in grass, branches, etc. They may look nice, but they won't last more than a month if you wear them frequently. They need straight and shorter laces and, of course, the proper technique for tying them so they don't loosen. The brown color helps a lot in hiding dirt and the sole is very easy to clean, while it protects from various thorns, burrs, palm trees, etc. No matter how tired I am, my feet are one of the last parts of my body to start complaining. These shoes are worth their money and overall, a hiking shoe is necessary, especially outside the city.
Update: The shoes still hold up after 4 years, but the sole has worn out due to use. Expected. Because I was satisfied, I decided to buy the same model again. The Italians do a decent job, I would say. The leather held up, and I never polished it, just cleaned it occasionally. I'm attaching some comparison photos, the new ones with the old ones. Obviously, I still recommend them, they are worth their money.
