Description

The work "Philosophy of Law - University Lectures" presents, through concise analysis and characteristic examples, the main theories of philosophy of law. In addition, it highlights the importance of human rights as autonomous values and as philosophical foundations of the main branches of law and proposes the holistic analysis of law, which attempts to harmoniously combine theories of law and other sciences. It accepts the general principles of natural law ethics when they are universal (human beings and their dignity as the highest value), within the framework of legal positivism it distinguishes between de lege lata and de lege ferenda, and with a neo-realist spirit it relates economic, political, and social approaches in order to become a tool that ultimately proposes the best possible solutions with results and benefits for all people and especially for their human, individual, political, and social rights in a liberal rule of law regime regarding every branch of law.

The book contributes to the gradual approach of the concepts of philosophy of law by students, in order to facilitate their study and further research.
