    It burns quite a bit, it needs to be diluted with water as the instructions say because it might damage the gums if used undiluted. There may be other products that are less irritating to use, but it disinfects well and leaves a fresh feeling for 1-2 hours after use, always in combination with brushing teeth beforehand.
