The CA SE SX10 0.3μm Atlas activated carbon water filter is a very dense activated carbon filter. It is made from coconut shell, providing high levels of sediment retention (dirt and suspended particles), pesticides, chlorine, and volatile compounds. 

It improves the taste and smell of the water. Due to its bacteriostatic action, it reduces the likelihood of bacteria appearing in the water.

Extruded activated carbon filters are made from activated carbon powder, which, under specific processes, creates filters with a uniform solid mass.

The advantage of filters in this category is that they behave as a single body, preventing the escape of activated carbon granules into the water, which happens with granular activated carbon (GAC) filters.
